Hitting back! In an interview with Mamamia's No Filter podcast, Tennis champion Serena Williams, 36, has revealed the first thing she did after her infamous outburst at the US Open earlier this month which saw her lose to Naomi Osaka
Serena, shares one-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, with Reddit co-founder husband Alexis Ohanian.
'I got in the car, and Olympia was in the car,' Serena divulged.
'It was so weird, and she started giving me kisses, she never gives me kisses. She doesn't even know to give kisses,' she continued.
'It was so weird, and she started giving me kisses': Serena revealed went to her car and spent time with her daughter Alexis Olympia, 1, who was very affectionate with her
'Then she just grabbed me, and I was like this little baby is so smart. It's just hard to be too down when you have a little one...when you have someone to take care of.'
Earlier this month, Serena was gunning for her 24th Grand Slam tournament win, during a high stakes game with Japan-born player, Naomi Osaka.
During the tennis match, which Naomi ended-up winning 6-2, 6-4, controversial coach Carlos Ramos charged the player with three code violations.
'Then she just grabbed me, and I was like this little baby is so smart': Obviously melting her heart, the tot apparently knew her famous mother had just gone through a rough time
In a first violation, Carlos warned Serena, one of the world's best players, that she was receiving coaching in a moment that set off a ripple effect.
Serena, was then told she was docked a point for smashing her tennis racquet, which was a point penalty, sending momentum in favour of Naomi.
The tennis star went on to say: 'I did not get coaching, I don't cheat. You need to make an announcement. I have a daughter and I stand for what's right for her. You owe me an apology.'
The third shock of the game came when Serena got a third code violation for verbal abuse, with her also calling the coach a 'thief.'
Champion: 'How many other men do things? There's a lot of men out here who have said a lot of things": Serena said the incident was a form of sexism after she was docked two points
The outburst saw fans split, but Serena went on to say that it was sexist, with men not getting in trouble for verbal outbursts to umpires.
'How many other men do things? There's a lot of men out here who have said a lot of things. It's because I am a woman, and that's not right.'
In the wake of the loss, Serena said she was "doing ok", but said that it made her refocus on what was important, which was her daughter.
“You realise the most important things that really matter,” she finished.
Upset: Serena, who has won 23 Grand Slam titles, said she the incident makes you think about what's important, and that she's been refocusing time on her young daughter

Speaking...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
