«Breaking News» Ryder Cup 2018 LIVE: Europe and USA lock horns on day one in Paris

The waiting is over. The 2018 Ryder Cup is here and it promises to be a thriller with Team Europe aiming to beat Team USA and win back the trophy. 

The first day of action begins early on Friday morning with plenty of golf ahead of us before we reach the finale on Sunday afternoon. 

The Friday morning fourballs start with Jon Rahm and Justin Rose taking on Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka. That match, the first of this year's event, starts at 7.10am (BST).

Three more matches will follow with an intriguing battle between Francesco Molinari, the Open champion, and Tommy Fleetwood against Tiger Woods and Patrick Reed.

The afternoon foursomes will follow the morning's action as both captains start to tinker with their teams ahead of the weekend.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
