«Breaking News» Romy Poulier CONFIRMS she was a paid actress on The Bachelor

It looks like Romy Poulier wasn't on The Bachelor for the right reasons after all.

After being asked about rumours she was 'planted' by producers to stir up trouble in the mansion, the 30-year-old confirmed the show was simply an acting job. 

'I'm an actress and I was paid [to be] on the show,' she told Kyle and Jackie O on Friday, following her dramatic departure from the program.

During her radio interview, a listener called in accusing Romy - who is an actress by trade but billed as a 'Photo Shoot Director' on the show - of being a 'paid plant'.

They said: 'I have a friend of a friend who has come out and said - now, they know your brother, Romy - and he has said that you're a paid plant.'

In a surprise twist, the sassy blonde replied: 'I'm an actor. There's all these rumours going around that I've been paid.

'Well, look. I'm an actress and I was paid on the show, as was everyone else. My trade is acting, so you do the math.'

Radio host Jackie 'O' Henderson then said: 'When I do the math I think, "Yeah, you were a paid plant".'

Romy responded by saying her appearance on The Bachelor 'turned into a role pretty quickly... it just happened organically'. 

She added: 'We are a cast, after all.'

Over the past few weeks, Romy has raised eyebrows due to her career as an actress, which includes roles on Home and Away and The Elephant Princess. 

She has also appeared in US drama series Terra Nova and, in her younger years, was a child star in stage productions of The Wizard Of Oz and The Sound Of Music.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
