«Breaking News» Pavard refuses to accuse Rudiger of intentionally stamping on his neck during Germany clash

Benjamin Pavard admitted he didn't know if Germany defender Antonio Rudiger deliberately stamped on him after he was left with stud marks on his neck during their UEFA Nations League clash.

The pair came together early on when Rudiger's boots scraped along the neck of Pavard as the Frenchman made a sliding tackle.

Yet Pavard did not place any blame on the Chelsea defender, claiming he hadn't seen the incident on video in the aftermath of the 0-0 draw.

The Stuttgart right-back felt the World Cup winners were given a stern test by Germany in the goalless draw, and benefitted from more rest after the tournament.

'We really suffered a really good Germany team. They were vengeful after their world cup

'I think they had more energy than us. They returned from their holidays earlier than us. We stayed strong as a team that’s our strength.'

There was significant backlash against Rudiger on social media after the painful incident.

Some called for the use of VAR, while others thought it should have been a straight red card.

One user said: 'Rudiger with a blatant stamp on Pavard there. Lucky to be still on the field.'

One person said: 'That should be a red card for Rudiger.'

Another called for VAR: 'Should be a red for Rudiger, nasty and on purpose. Where is VAR?'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
