He's the curly-haired kicker who last year revealed his commitment to a gluten-free and pescatarian lifestyle.

And now, North Melbourne star Ben Brown and his wife Hester have once again put their animal-loving antics in the spotlight - this time with a baby bump in tow. 

Arriving at the Brownlow Medal, AFL's night of nights, the parents-to-be opted for silk-free and vegan-friendly ensembles, according to The Australian on Monday, to match Hester's long-time diet.

Dressed in a blush, capped sleeve gown, Hester paired the look with her burgeoning 24-week baby bump ahead of the birth of the couple's first child, due in January.

Last year, the 25-year-old Brownlow hopeful revealed to the Herald Sun the health battles which forced him to adhere to a strict gluten free lifestyle.     

In an candid column for the paper, Brown disclosed for the first time he suffered from coeliac disease, which is hallmarked by an intolerance to gluten.

'My partner, Hester, was quick to sift through our fridge and pantry, throwing out or giving away each product with gluten or traces of gluten,' he wrote. 

'Our diets, while restrictive, are healthy and balanced. Hester is vegan with a fructose sensitivity, and I'm now pescetarian and coeliac.'

Initially overlooked for three drafts before making his way to the North Melbourne Kangaroos, Ben Brown represented his native Tasmania prior to turning professional.

Since his first game at the club in 2014, Brown has made an impact, becoming one of the team's leading goal kickers in 2017. 

More joy came the same year when the flame-haired couple married in last August. 

Despite earning a law degree shortly before the wedding, Hester has since started work as a marriage celebrant.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
