«Breaking News» Neymar dive prompts DeAndre Yedlin to ask referee 'did you watch the World Cup?'

Neymar was at it again with his histrionics as Brazil beat USA in a friendly on Friday evening, but his reputation did not precede him, not least with the referee anyway.

DeAndre Yedlin, on the other hand, was quick to remember the Brazilian star's extravagant diving and writhing antics in the World Cup this summer.

The USA defender was penalised for a foul on Neymar during the first half of their friendly but felt he had conned the referee and reminded him about his antics in Russia.

Yedlin was spotted repeatedly asking the referee 'Did you watch the World Cup?', but his pleas were largely ignored and Brazil were awarded the free-kick. 

Neymar's risible histrionics in the summer left fans and pundits exasperated, with the Brazil star coming under heavy scrutiny for his play acting.

Although it is a flaw of Neymar's, who openly asked to be forgiven for his diving in a remarkable advert for razor manufacturer Gillette in the aftermath of the tournament, there is still all the class and quality to the other side of his game.

And that, for the most part, overshadowed his earlier theatrics on Friday evening with the PSG star netting Brazil's second goal after Roberto Firmino had opened the scoring.

Brazil boss Tite named a strong side against the US and it paid off with Neymar and Co putting their World Cup disappointment behind them to record a comfortable victory.

Everton star Richarlison was also brought on after the hour mark for his international debut and Tite hinted that the forward could be in line to start their next friendly against El Salvador on Tuesday.

Against Costa Rica, he fell over in the box and appealed to the referee while on his way down

'In the second game, there will be a greater opportunity for other athletes to start. Opportunity for some, responsibility to perform for others,' Tite said afterwards.

'This was above my expectation, though, it did not have brilliance at all times, but the offensive opportunities are there.

'We are getting back on top of a pain and frustration of elimination.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
