«Breaking News» Michael Moore's ex-wife sues him, claims she was duped out of movie profits

Kathleen Glynn filed a lawsuit against fellow filmmaker ex-husband Michael Moore, and claims that he has not paid her portion of their mutual movie profits.

Page Six reported Thursday the lawsuit was newly filed in Manhattan Supreme Court this week.

Glynn's lawyer claimed in court documents that Gylnn was supposed to receive four percent of total revenue from their partnership. Page Six reported that Glynn only got $541 in 2014, the same year the couple's divorce was finalized.

Moore reportedly filed to the IRS negative $350,862 in income that year, and in 2016, negative $221,025 - which his ex-wife believes are false.

The gossip site reported from the suit that Glynn 'was the driving force in the making of many of [his] films and other ventures.

'Mr. Moore was the featured personality, dating back to their first big success, "Roger and Me" in 1989.'

Glynn also produced '''Fahrenheit 9/11," the highest-grossing documentary film of all time' and 'Oscar-winning "Bowling for Columbine".'

In their divorce settlement, Glynn 'signed over essentially all of her interest in the fruits of the parties' joint efforts as film-makers in exchange for a promise of future revenue-sharing.'

Their divorce was finalized in July 2014, which ended their two-decade-long marriage.

Moore spokesman Christian Muirhead said at the time his client and Glynn 'mutually and amicably reached a divorce settlement.'

Moore's filing from the year prior said his relationship with Glynn had broken down and there remained 'no reasonable likelihood that the marriage' could be preserved.

Before finalizing the divorce, the pair squabbled over marital assets, The Smoking Gun reported at the time.

The large amount of money Glynn, who produced several of her husband's movies, spent on their lakefront mansion in Michigan, was said to be an issue of contention.

According to Celebrity Worth, Moore had $50million in assets. Court records did not indicate exactly how much the producer is worth.

The documentary maker claimed his other half 'unilaterally wasted a large percentage of the marital funds' with the Torch Lake mansion, which put a spotlight on his wealth and opened him up for ridicule because he has so often criticized the rich in his films.

The home, which was completed years ago, is believed to cost in the neighborhood of $2million.

Moore maintained that his spouse spent five times more on the property than she should have in what amounted to 'massive cost overruns' that set them back financially.

In a sworn affidavit, Moore reported that, in 2011, Glynn 'discussed with me problems she was having with the money she was spending (which caused us some serious financial losses).'

The lake house wasn't their only home. They owned a total of nine properties in Michigan and New York.

Their Manhattan condo was created through 'the combination of three separate units,' according to The Smoking Gun.

According to court filings, the couple - that does not have children - also failed to agree on when they split.

Moore said it was August 2010 and Glynn insists it's June 2013 when Moore filed for divorce in a Michigan Circuit Court.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
