«Breaking News» Mayochup IS coming to the UK!

Heinz is set to bring its Mayochup hybrid sauce to the UK after fans voted in overwhelmingly in favour in a Twitter poll.

The divisive pre-made blend - a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup - was rolled out in the Middle East earlier this year and arrived in US supermarkets this week.

Now shoppers on the other side of the Atlantic will have a chance to snap up the sauce after the majority Twitter users voted in favour of bringing it to Britain.

Heinz posted it's poll in a Tweet on Tuesday, and said: 'Who's up for #mayochup? It's up to you in the UK... 50,000 votes for Yes and we'll put it on the shelves!'

More than 88,000 votes were cast in the first 48 hours with 57 per cent voting 'yes'.

At the time of writing more than 103,000 votes had been cast with nearly 60,000 of them in favour.

There has since been more than 103,000 votes with the proportion of votes in support remaining the same.

However some customers remain decidedly unconvinced over the pre-blend sauce.

One said it was 'as bad as putting pineapple on a pizza' while another argued it was a hybrid that 'shouldn't exist'.

When news of its availability in the Middle East emerged earlier this year, some fans said they couldn't wait to get their hands on it in Britain.

But others argued that Heinz had simply reinvented the wheel - as ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together forms the base of a classic marie rose sauce that is traditionally served with a prawn cocktail.

Marie rose, otherwise known as prawn cocktail sauce, is traditionally a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup as well as Tabasco, cayenne pepper, lemon juice and seasoning.

Some also said at the time the condiment was designed for 'lazy' people who can't mix the two together themselves. One called it a 'deeply upsetting concept'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
