Marco Silva criticised the officials after Everton were beaten courtesy of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's offside goal at Arsenal.
His side had the better of the first 50 minutes of the game, but a quick-fire double from Alexandre Lacazette and Aubameyang before the hour ended up downing the visitors.
Arsenal counter-attacked up the pitch before the striker received the ball in an offside position from a flick-on and then scored. Assistant referee Harry Lennard failed to raise his flag.
Everton boss Marco Silva has criticised the officials after Arsenal were awarded an offside goal
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was in an offside position when he received the ball from Ramsey
Silva was not happy with the decision. He said: 'It's really frustrating. We have in that moment just one player in our box. It's too clear to the assistant.
'It was a counter-attack, we won the ball and after we lost it too quickly and one pass, and it's two against one or three against one.
'We have just Jonjoe Kenny inside the box. It's clear where he is in that moment and it's clear on the second touch [by Aaron Ramsey] where the player who finishes is, as well. He's clearly offside.
'For me, it's a little bit strange but it's OK. I make mistakes, my players as well. The assistant referees can make them, as well.
'We were in control of the game in that moment, they scored a great goal but we'll fight until the end. We'll try to fight to score the one-one for sure. That moment was really hard for us.'
The Arsenal striker made it 2-0 in the second half to kill Everton's momentum on Sunday
Silva admitted he hoped VAR would be implemented in the Premier League for next season
Silva admitted he hoped VAR, which would have spotted the error, would be implemented in the Premier League for next season: 'The people in command have to take the decision. If they didn't take before, because they talked in that moment it wasn't the best moment to do.
'They're trying to find the best way to do that in the future, as soon as possible. Maybe next season we'll have VAR here.'
The momentum of the game swung in Arsenal's favour through Lacazette's 56th minute strike. Manager Unai Emery prepared a substitution before the goal and after the match he hinted the French striker was going to be taken off.
Alexandre Lacazette opened the scoring at the Emirates with an emphatic strike on Sunday
'We need change in this moment on the pitch. Another individual quality, another individual pushing,' he said.
Asked again whether it was Lacazette who would have been hooked, he laughed and nodded.
Emery also praised on Petr Cech, who made a series of important saves: 'The performance was what you want today. He showed us he is very well and continuing with his work.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
