«Breaking News» Lucas Perez vents fury at Manuel Pellegrini after Everton snub

Lucas Perez reacted with anger after he was overlooked to replace the injured Marko Arnautovic in West Ham's 3-1 win at Everton.

The Spanish striker had been warming up after Arnautovic, who sustained an injury behind his left knee that will be assessed on Monday, scored his side's third goal.

Perez sat back in the dugout and swapped places with Michail Antonio, who manager Manuel Pellegrini beckoned to take over from Arnautovic.

Sky Sports reported that Perez refused to warm up during the second half of the match

Perez was seen on camera having a conversation with coach Xavi Valero on the bench

Xavi Valero, West Ham's goalkeeper coach, attempted to calm down Perez after he threw his bib on the floor and Pellegrini revealed later he would speak to the former Arsenal man. 

'When Marco had a problem with his knee, I wanted to put on Lucas but Michail was ready,' said Pellegrini. 'I don't have to explain the decision, especially in the game. We have a week after.'

Pellegrini was thrilled with the victory, adding: 'In football you are always under pressure. I have a lot of communication with the owners. 

'Of course they were not happy (with West Ham's start to the season), but they never had any doubt about what we were doing.'

Everton manager Marco Silva substituted Morgan Schneiderlin a minute before half-time. The France midfielder's father died last week but Silva stressed it was a tactical decision and had nothing to do with the bereavement.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
