John Legend has revealed that Kanye West is definitely thinking about running for President in 2024.
The hitmaker, 39, who has recently admitted that he is still 'civil' with the rapper after the two disagreed on their political views, has admitted that the 41-year-old has spoken of his desire for Presidency 'multiple times'.
'I think he's serious,' John admitted in the Dan Wootton Interview podcast, before confessing that his political ambitions have been inspired by Donald Trump and going on to express his sympathy for Meghan Markle.

John continued to describe Kanye's dreams: 'He sees some aspects of himself in Trump and sees that Trump winning makes it feel like he could do it too.'
The other half of Kim Kardashian first expressed his desire to become President at the VMAs in 2015 where he revealed he would run in 2020.
However, in an interview with Power 92 Chicago last week, Kanye revealed he still has the same career goals but had pushed them back four years to 2024.
And John recently admitted that things are 'civil' between him and his longtime friend, but they still disagree with their political views.

'He sees some aspects of himself in Trump': John also confessed that Kanye's political ambitions have been inspired by Donald Trump
John was thrust into the centre of one of Kanye's Twitter rants this spring after the rapper posted their private text messages online and accused him of 'manipulating my free thought.'
In the text messages, John had urged Kanye to reconsider aligning himself with President Donald Trump, after the rapper showed his support for the politician during a lengthy Twitter tirade, even posting an autographed MAGA hat online.
Discussing the fallout, John - who scooped Most Stylish Man at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday - reasoned: 'Kayne was just being Kanye; this wasn't just some press stunt.'

Fall-out: John recently admitted that things are 'civil' between him and his longtime friend, but they still disagree with their political views
'I was surprised he put my messages out there without asking me, sure. I wouldn't say that was a good thing for a friend to do. But I wasn't ashamed of what I said, and I stand by it.
'Kayne and I still disagree with one another, although we are civil. But the issue can't just be swept under the carpet.
'For me, I don't believe politics is just purely about debate or about who wins the intellectual argument. Politics and policies impact real lives. Kanye's got his own conscience to wrestle with; I have mine.'
Meanwhile, in his interview with The Sun, John also discussed having Meghan Markle and her family situation.

'I think everybody’s got family members that they wish would keep quiet. Particularly if you come from a pretty humble background, you don’t grow up expecting to be famous and to be held accountable for every family member that you have,' he explained.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
