Man-of-the-match Danny Rose revealed England held a dressing room inquest during half-time in Tuesday's 1-0 victory over Switzerland.
An England XI featuring nine changes were lucky to come in level at the break but an improved second-half showing and a 54th minute strike from Marcus Rashford – his second goal in as many games – was enough for a 1-0 victory.
‘Our first half performance was embarrassing but it's great we can shout at each other to change things,’ said the Tottenham defender, who impressed as England bounced back from Saturday’s 2-1 Wembley defeat to Spain.
Danny Rose was one of the few bright spots on England's 1-0 victory on Tuesday night
‘We could have been two or three nil down at half time,’ Rose added. ‘It's great we can all shout at each other and tell each other to improve like we did. In the end, we are over the moon to keep a clean sheet and get back to winning ways.’
England coach Gareth Southate welcomed the exchange. ‘I wasn't in there at that moment,’ he said.
‘We always give them the first three or four minutes to themselves. We always encourage them to have a voice. It's important they feel close enough that they can get on to each other. Then we have to make sure that doesn't boil over. But it was quite calm by the time we got in there. That's a good sign there's some leadership in the group. They recognise when they want to be better.’

Southgate was keen to praise his side, who ensured they avoided a historic run of four defeats in a row.
‘We know the performance could have been better,’ he said. ‘We also know that, on Saturday, we could have feasibly ended with a draw which would have looked different as well. The players have given everything through a really difficult period.
'It was going to be tough mentally to switch back from the World Cup to these games, physically for all the players, and with two tough games to play. It's not been a perfect week by any means, but it's a win.’

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
