«Breaking News» Demi Lovato slashes $500k off the $9.5m price of Hollywood Hills home

Demi Lovato has slashed $500,000 off the asking price of her Hollywood Hills home where she suffered an overdose in July.

The Sober hitmaker's luxury four-bedroom pad - which boasts an infinity pool, bar, covered gazebo and media room - was originally listed for $9,495,000.

But People reported Thursday that it is now available for $8,995,000 as the pop star apparently doesn't want to return to the scene of her overdose.

She wants out: Demi Lovato has slashed $500,000 off the asking price of her Hollywood Hills home - which she originally listed for almost $9.5m - where she suffered an overdose in July.

The 26-year-old hitmaker entered rehab shortly after being found unconscious at the mansion, which she bought in 2016.

Demi has been at the Chicago facility ever since and was seen for the first time outside of rehab rehab last week, enjoying a coffee as she chatted to a woman with a dog. 

Sources said recently: 'She's working very hard on bettering herself and staying on the right path. Sobriety is the most important thing in Demi's life right now.'

While in rehab, the Cool For The Summer hitmaker was visited by her family, as well as her former boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

The insider added: 'Demi has been fortunate to have her family and friends for support during this time. Demi's mother and her ex, Wilmer, have visited her in rehab when they can.' 

Wilmer, 38, and Demi split in 2016 following six years together but have remained close, and the former That 70s Show star was reported to have put his life on hold in the wake of his former partner's health scare. 

The property was targeted by would-be burglars in August shortly after Demi entered rehab with police discovering plans to raid the home from electronic communications.

Thieves also broke in at the start of 2017, shortly after it was featured in a news bulletin after it was damaged in a mudslide.

Demi said at the time: 'They showed pictures of my house. I was so p***ed. If a crazed fan studied those, they could break in. They (the burglars) knew I was going to be away.

'They had a ladder and climbed to the second floor. My house manager was staying here, and the dogs started barking. She opened the door and saw a man on my balcony, and he ran. My dogs saved the day.'

It's got to go: Demi is reportedly  keen to unload the beautiful home as she doesn't want to return to the place where she suffered  her overdose

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
