Meanwhile, the singer once revealed in 2016 that Beyonce 'politely showed Coldplay the door' when they asked the singer to duet with them.
The frontman told Graham Norton the superstar declined the group's first offer, before eventually agreeing to work with the hitmakers on Hymn For The Weekend in 2015.
He told the show's host: 'We’ve been to her before and were politely shown the door.
'I had a tiny idea for a little song and when I asked her if she wanted to do it she said no. We then went to her with a more real song and she was very sweet and sang it.'
Low-key: Chris, 41, was channelling his usual casual sense of style, wearing a striped jumper with jeans and trainers.
The song featured on Coldplay's most recent album A Head Full Of Dreams and was released as a single last year, with Beyoncé lending her vocals to the track and performing in an elaborate outfit in the music video.
Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z have been On The Run together for nearly four months.
The couple played to their biggest crowd yet as they put on a spectacular performance at LA's Rose Bowl Stadium the night before.
The husband and wife mesmerized the sold-out crowd with their decades spanning catalog, not to mention around a dozen outfit changes between them.

More than 55,000 fans had to brave the crawling Pasadena traffic and pack the surrounding golf course with cars (at $50 a pop) before hiking across it to cram into the venue, but not a single one was complaining as they came in their droves to worship the queen.
Bey unveiled a drool-inducing wardrobe, almost every one glistening in jewels, and almost every one showcasing her phenomenal curves.
Bey and Jay were completely in sync as they sailed through respective classics like Crazy In Love and 99 Problems to their more modern masterpieces like Sorry and 4:44.
While it was almost impossible to isolate a single highlight, fans reacted wildly when Jay Z sequed into his duet with Kanye West N***s In Paris, although he never mention his former bestie.

'Have you ever seen a crowd going apesh*t?!' Beyonce rhetorically asked, as tens of thousands did just that.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
