«Breaking News» Celebrity Island: Eric Roberts pulled off the beach with medical emergency after Montana Brown quits

For weeks 10 celebrities have been pushed to their limits, testing their endurance levels after being marooned on a desert island.

And the true dangers of life in the tropics came to light during Sunday's episode as Hollywood veteran Eric Roberts was forced to temporarily leave the island after he suffered a medical emergency and had to have his eye seen to.

The 62-year-old actor was whisked away by Bear Grylls' safety team to see an eye specialist after complaining of pain, but was able to return, shortly before Montana Brown chose to quit the show for good.

Eric has been caught in his fair share of drama since arriving on the island, rubbing his fellow Islanders up the wrong way within hours of coming in by drinking the last of their precious water supply.

Julia Roberts' brother went on to offend transgender contestant Paris Lee when he asked her if she had sex reassignment surgery.

And Sunday's episode was just as dramatic, with the Runaway Train actor 'dicing with death' when he went swimming in a caiman-infested lagoon without warning his fellow islanders or the safety team.

The star also lost his wedding ring in the sea, but luckily Martin Kemp was able to hunt it down and return it to the star.

Following the drama, Montana Brown also caused a stir when she announced that she would be leaving the island.

Addressing her fellow campmates, she revealed: 'As you all know, I'm used to being quite a positive person.

'I'm not that happy being here anymore. Being on this island is so much harder than I thought it was going to be.

'It makes me want to cry. And I wouldn't want to spread negativity around the camp. So I am leaving today...'

Breaking down in tears, she added: 'I feel really physically weak and I feel really mentally weak and all I want to do is leave. That's my final decision. Bye guys, I love you!'

Montana is the third celebrity to quit, following on from Roxanne Pallett and Paris Lee.

Martin Kemp, James Cracknell, Anthony Ogogo, Pete Wicks, Jo Wood and Dr Saleyha Ahsan remain on the island.

Speaking after quitting the show, Montana said on the Private Parts podcast: 'It's so much harder than it looks. It's not like reality shows where you're with your friends and people are the same age, girls and guys, and it's all quite fun.

'I was the youngest and then two of the girls left right at the beginning, so it was me and Jo Wood and she's over 60.

'I found it mentally tough because I felt like I didn't click with anyone.

'Especially when you don't have your phone, you feel so far away from home, and everyone's like, "What were you doing in the '90s?" and I'm like, "I was in a womb".'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
