Byron John claims his son Bradley (pictured) would still be alive if the school had acted to stop the bullies
The grieving father of a bullied pupil who hanged himself in school toilets is calling for the headteacher's resignation.
Heartbroken Byron John claims his son Bradley, 14, would still be alive if the school had acted to stop the bullies.
Bradley's 12-year-old sister Danielle found him dead in the toilet block at St John Lloyd Roman Catholic School in Llanelli, South Wales.
Mr John said his son had been missing for an hour and 10 minutes before the alarm was raised.
He claims teachers refused to break down the door of the cubicle where the troubled teenager was found.
Mr John, 53, will hand in a formal letter of complaint to the school tomorrow demanding that head Ashley Howells resigns.
Farmer Mr John said: 'I'm very unhappy at the way the school has handled things both before Bradley died, on the day it happened and since.
'There was a systematic failure of any workable anti-bullying policy.
'There was a failure to follow up our concerns and those of the healthcare professionals helping my son.
'I am asking for the head's resignation along with other teachers who let Bradley down.'
Bradley was being treated for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in the months leading up to his apparent suicide last week.

Mr John said: 'I am asking for his school file containing details of the meetings we had with the school and what action they took against the bullying that was going on.
'The school has also put out misleading statements saying support is in place for Danielle.
'That is an untruth, they have not even picked up the phone to ask how she is.'
Mr John, of Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, is also angry over the way the school broke the tragic news.
He said: 'The head rang me to say Bradley had attempted to take his own life and paramedics were working on him.

'I should never have been told in that way - it resulted in me driving to the school in a frantic and irresponsible way.'
Other parents will hold a peaceful protest outside the school gates at noon today(fri) while Mr John hands in four separate letters of complaint.
He added: 'We are not anarchists, we are concerned parents who want to do things properly.'
Mr John, Master of the Carmarthenshire Hunt until fox hunting was banned in the UK, described Bradley as 'the centre of our world'.
He is trying support his daughter Danielle who is 'going through hell' after finding Bradley dead.
Mr John said: 'It was her 13th birthday on Wednesday, exactly a week after Bradley died.
'I tried to maintain some degree of normality for her birthday but I failed miserably.
'It will always be her birthday a week after the anniversary of losing her big brother in such a terrible way.'
Carmarthenshire Council said it was aware of the protest and the family's concerns that Bradley was being bullied.
Cllr Glynog Davies, Executive Board Member for Education and Children's Services, said: 'There is a formal investigation underway, and therefore it is inappropriate to speculate on the circumstances leading to this tragic incident.
'We, as part of a multi-agency approach, continue to work closely with the school and the police to offer our support in every way possible.
'We wish to extend our most sincere sympathies to family, friends and all at St John Lloyd School at this deeply upsetting and difficult time.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
