Bradley Cooper talked about his father passing away in his arms seven years ago, which lead to a 'new reality' for him.
Cooper's father, Charles Cooper, died in January 2011.
'It’s a new reality,' Cooper said. 'Everything, everything. It’s not even one thing, it’s a whole new world. And it was instantaneous. It wasn’t like, months later. It was like, his last exhale, and I was holding him, and it was like, everything changed.'

A tribute to dad: Bradley Cooper, seen at the UK premiere of A Star Is Born, said 'everything changed' once his father died in his arms in 2011; seen on Thursday in London
The actor, 43, told the New York Times that he had been taking care of his dad for a year before he left to shoot The Hangover Part II in Thailand.
He flew to his hometown of Philadelphia in early 2011 after wrapping production to be with his dad and to take him to an Philadelphia Eagles game.
Two weeks after the game, Charles Cooper took his last breath in Bradley's arms.
One thing that changed was his approach to the roles he would take, which lead to the actor doing The Elephant Man on Broadway and in London, and ultimately lead him to star and direct the remake of A Star Is Born.

Cooper had been approached to star in A Star Is Born in 2011, when Clint Eastwood was slated to direct, but at just 36 years of age, he didn't think he was 'weathered' enough to play Jackson Maine.
He added that he didn't think he had 'lived enough' for the role, but in 2015, four years after his father's death, he looked in the mirror and knew he was ready.
'Honestly, I could see it on my face,' the Guardians of the Galaxy star said. 'I just felt it.”

Cooper has opened up about his father in the past, speaking about losing him in a 2016 speech at the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy launch, stating it was just 'simply overwhelming' to take care of him, even with his resources.
'I can’t even imagine how much more difficult it is for those patients and the families that are less fortunate than I was that simply can’t afford to pay for both treatment and rent,' Cooper said at the event.
He also acknowledged he was in a 'very lucky position' because he had the ability to 'completely focus on taking care of him' without worrying about other aspects of his life.

He will next reunite with his American Sniper director Clint Eastwood in The Mule, starring alongside Taissa Farmiga and Eastwood himself.
Cooper is already lining up his next directorial effort, Bernstein, a biopic where he will also star as music legend Leonard Bernstein.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
