A swarm of bees halted a commercial plane, when the buzzing insects decided to take a break in the aircraft’s engine.
Beekeepers at the airport in South Africa hastily removed them, but the pit stop for the 20,000 bees still caused three flights to be delayed.
The bees had rested on top of a plane belonging to Mango Airlines, and the incident took place at the King Shaka International Airport, which serves the coastal city of Durban in the eastern South African province of KwaZulu-Natal.

Beekeeper Melvyn Dawson said that it was a fairly quick task and estimated that there had been around 20,000 bees.
Reports said that the bees had settled on the engine of the plane in around 25 minutes.
After cabin crew spotted the delegation of bees, two beekeepers were brought in so they could remove them as quickly as possible and so that scheduled flights could get back on track.
The keepers were not allowed to use their own ladder or a bee smoker as they may have caused damage to the aircraft.
According to a Mango Airlines statement, it is the first time that a plane has ever been grounded due to bees.
The low-cost airline uploaded images of the unusual incident to Twitter.

In a Tweet the airline said: ‘Two beekeepers were called into remove a swarm of bees that had started building a nest in the engine of one of our aircrafts in Durban on Sunday. This unfortunately meant delays on three of our scheduled flights. The bees were safely removed.#flymango’
Mike Miles, spokesman for the South African Bee Industry Organisation, said that it was an unusual place for the bees to build a hive, adding that they typically use rock crevices or tree hollows.
He believes that they may have been resting on the engine before heading somewhere else.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
