Ariana Grande posted a string of anguished tweets this Thursday.

The distraught 25-year-old pop star began: 'can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls,' then less than a minute latter added: 'i’m so tired pls'.

After a few minutes, she went on: 'i’m so f***ing tired pls,' giving the resigned: 'jus wake me up when i’m supposed to sing or whatever. peace.'

She then quoted a tweet of hers from Saturday that read: 'everything will be okay,' and wrote in her new tweet: 'j f***ing k'.

Ariana wrote: 'nothing will ever b ok,' doubling down: 'dats da truth. luv u,' and waiting a few minutes before closing: 'ty for loving me sm i do not deserve it'.

The God Is A Woman singer, who recently got engaged to Saturday Night Live star Pete Davdison after a brief whirlwind romance, has had a turbulent summer.

Her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, whom she broke up with this May, had long suffered from addiction and eventually died of a suspected drug overdose this September 7.

Some social media users cruelly intimated that Ariana had pushed Mac further into his addictions because she got engaged so soon after her split from him.

In fact, the day Mac died, Ariana went so far as to briefly turn off her Instagram comments.

The day after his death, she posted a black and white Instagram photo of him, and a few days later wrote a heartrending tribute to him on that social media page.

She wrote: 'i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will. i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it.'

Ariana continued: 'we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do. you were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved. i hope you’re okay now. rest.'

Over the weekend, she gave a sweet nod to him on her Instagram page again, posting a video of herself with his dog Myron.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
