Tycoon and restaurateur Richard Caring plans to demolish a Victorian mansion in an exclusive part of London before building a two-storey home and iceberg basement.
Mr Caring, who owns Annabel's nightclub and The Ivy, purchased the property for £40million in January, just five years after it went up for sale at £105million.
The 70-year-old hopes to bulldoze two cottages on the site in south Kensington, which were combined into a single dwelling by a previous owner.
Plans submitted to the local authority reveal that Mr Caring proposes to build a new family home in its place, complete with a massive master bedroom with 'his and her' dressing rooms.
The plans also include 'five additional bedrooms for nannies and children', a drawing room measuring 48 feet and a vast dining room with space for 16 people.
Mr Caring has already received planning permission for a double-level basement, which will have a 50ft-long swimming pool.
Drawings show that the iceberg basement will also have a gym, a cinema, sauna and steam rooms and a beauty treatment area.
Mr Caring married his second wife, Brazilian businesswoman Patricia Mondinni, in March of this year.
The couple were thought to be expecting a third child in October, with plans to call her Annabel after the Mayfair nightclub he owns.

The tycoon lived at his former north London mansion, called the Versailles of Hampstead, with his first wife Jacqueline Stead.
Mr Caring's proposal to Kensington and Chelsea council is expected to be given to go-ahead by its planning authority tonight.
However the plans have proved unpopular with neighbours, with 22 letters of objection filed.
One resident wrote: 'It would seem that money can buy whatever its owner wishes with scant regard for the neighbours.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
