«Breaking News» I'm A Celebrity: Anne Hegerty reveals Nick Knowles would argue with the crew over campmates' safety

Anne Hegerty has revealed that fellow I'm A Celeb contestant Nick Knowles would clash with the crew whilst filming the Bush Telegraph when he felt that campmates' safety was overlooked.

The Chase star, 60, explained that a lot of moments in the jungle haven't been shown to the public, including the The 56-year-old DIY SOS frontman's arguments with staff. 

Speaking to the Metro on Friday, she said: 'I don't think they've seen how protective he gets with the other campmates, and how he'll have blazing rows in the Bush Telegraph if he thinks the rest of us are being put at risk in any way.'

She added: ‘Honestly, from the conversations I’ve been having with people since I got out, I think there’s a lot of things Nick has been doing that have just not been shown. 

'People seem to know that candlewax was spilled on John’s gilet, but when I say, “Were you impressed by Nick’s scheme for removing the wax when the producers said they wouldn’t provide a new gilet?” they all go, “What scheme?”'

Having presented DIY SOS since 1999, Nick drew on his skills on multiple occasions to the delight of his fellow contestants, and he even made rope out of Rita Simons' bed sheet when she was voted out of the jungle.

Speaking after his departure, Nick admitted he wanted to take part in the show to prove how people from all different walks of life could come together and live in harmony.

He explained: 'I think the thing that surprised me is the tough bits you don't see day to day like lugging the wood, but when I came here I wanted to see if a whole bunch of people could get together and make friends.

'We're having such a touch time in the UK, if we could all get together it might be a big pointer for everybody at home.'

Throughout their time in jungle, the celebrities are forced to live on a strict diet of rice and beans and are given measly rations of the meal, unless they otherwise win food during the show's Bushtucker trials.

Anne endured 18 gruelling days in the I'm A Celebrity jungle before being evicted by the public.

While Nick became the sixth contestant to be voted off on Thursday, after he spent a staggering 20 days on the show.

Nick lost more than two stone living on the notoriously slimming diet made up of rations rice and beans, while Anne lost one stone.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
