«Breaking News» Democratic firebrand warns Ivanka he'll investigate her ties to Moscow

An online fight between a Member of Congress who sits on the Judiciary Committee and Ivanka Trump could have real-world consequences for the White House when Democrats take the majority early next year.

The president's elder daughter blocked Rep. Ted Lieu on Twitter sometime in 2017 after her father took office. He has continued to send questions over social media that he wants her to answer, nonetheless, and on Thursday suggested he could soon compel her to answer them.

'Let me ask White House Senior Advisor @IvankaTrump about Trump Tower Moscow. Oh wait, she blocked me, a Member of Congress, because my questions bother her,' he tweeted. 'Let me correct that. She blocked me, a Member of Congress who will be in the majority, because my questions bother her.'

Lieu is a member of the House Judiciary Committee and will be in the majority when the new legislative sessions begins. He was also elected this week to a House Democratic leadership position. He'll be a co-chair of the policy committee.

He had previously indicated that he would like to question her about a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels, who claims to have had an affair with Donald Trump more than a decade ago, and attempt to silence former Playboy playmate Karen McDougal.

'Can you forward to @IvankaTrump? She blocked me,' he said of the matter in a Feb. 26, 2018 tweet.

He charged later the same day: 'ICYMI, can you retweet or forward to White House Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump? She can't handle questions from a Member of Congress, so she blocked me.'

It's unclear when the senior adviser to the president blocked Lieu, but he appears to have first noticed on Aug. 13, 2017, when he shared a screenshot of her personal account that reflected he could no longer view it.

'Hey look, a senior White House official is afraid of tweets from a Congressman. Ivanka blocked me. Also, why is she in the White House?' he asked.

Lieu had been pushing for congressional investigations into the president's claims that he was wiretapped and into his financial dealings with Russia.

He says that the president's daughter and son-in-law, both of whom work in the White House, should have to answer questions about alleged Russian collusion.

Ivanka's emails became fodder for Democrats again this month, as did a revelation that she was involved in her father's plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.

Donald Trump's former attorney, Michael Cohen, told investigators this week that he lied about the timeline of project that he said was discontinued before the Trump Tower meeting in the summer of 2016 with a Russian lawyer to discuss information that the president's campaign was led to believe would derail Hillary Clinton.

Cohen now claims that talks continued even after Trump secured the Republican nomination for the presidency, significantly heightening the odds that he'd win the Oval Office.

It was then revealed that Ivanka Trump recommended an architect to Cohen for the project that never came to the fruition, because Trump unexpectedly won the presidency.

Ivanka was set to have a spa in the building that bore her name, according to documents that were obtained by CNN.

Her company was explicitly given the option to 'brand any or all portion of the spa or fitness facilities as "The Spa by Ivanka Trump" or similar," the network said.

The president says that no one within his campaign coordinated with the Russians to interfere with the election that put him in office. Allegations of collusion continue to be part of a probe, however, within the Department of Justice and will come back into focus in January when Democrats are in control of the lower chamber of Congress.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
