A Colorado man has been arrested and is facing two dozen charges on suspicion of inappropriately touching a 10-year-old girl at a store and stealing women's underwear from college dorms.

Nicholas Joseph Lorenzo, 33, was detained by law enforcement last Monday after flying back to the state.

The University of Colorado Boulder Police Department captured him at Denver International Airport after working with various agencies to track him down and obtain an warrant to detain him.

The Boulder County pervert was taken into custody in relation to women's underwear going missing from Aden, Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman residence halls in October.

Lorenzo – a registered sex offender – was suspected of breaking in and snatching panties from the laundry room.

He's also believed to have 'unnecessarily brushed up against a young girl on a couple of occasions' while she was shopping in Broomfield's FlatIron Crossing Mall.

Video from the retail store showed a suspect carrying out the assault where he grabbed her rear on November 23, DailyCamera.com reports.

Law enforcement have determined it was the same man who broke into the areas where students sleep.

Broomfield / CU Boulder Suspect

Can you identify this suspect? Through an ongoing investigation it has been discovered that there is a second case involving the male suspect noted in our previous release of information earlier this week. On November 27, 2018 we provided the following details: On November 23, 2018 an adult male unnecessarily brushed up against a young girl on a couple of occasions, inappropriately touching her while she was shopping at a local retail store. Additional investigation and collaboration with CU Police revealed that the same man was caught on surveillance video breaking into residence halls on the University of Colorado Boulder campus in October. The suspect allegedly stole women’s underwear from a residence hall laundry room. He committed thefts and other crimes in the Aden, Brackett, Cockerell and Crosman residence halls. At CU, he was seen wearing glasses and a black baseball cap. Surveillance photos and video of this suspect were caught at both locations, wearing similar attire. If you have any information regarding the identity of the man seen in these photos or video please contact Detective Dale Hammell at dhammell@broomfield.org or 303.464.5733.

They were tipped off by numerous people who saw his face in reports, including one person in a probation program with the suspect.

Lorenzo was on probation for indecent exposure in 2010 after he admitted to masturbating behind a meat counter at a Safeway store he was working at in Louisville.

He was booked into Denver County Jail following his arrest last week then transferred to Boulder County Jail last Wednesday.

He was held on $30,000 on the CU charges and $10,000 on the Broomfield charges.

Lorenzo is up against 18 counts of burglary, four counts of theft under $50, three counts of trespassing and one count of invasion of privacy for the college incidents. He is charged with the sexual assault of a child for the retail store incident.

'I am extremely proud of our investigators and the Broomfield and Denver police departments for how they collaborated to make an arrest in this case,' CU Boulder Police Chief Doreen Jokerst said in a statement.

'This arrest was made after many weeks of hard work and with a collaborative mindset among many agencies. The CU Boulder campus and our community are safer because of their diligence. Our students need to feel safe on campus, and we will continue to work tirelessly toward that goal.'

But police are still on the hunt for more of his victims after finding evidence at his home that there could be additional people affected.

Anyone who believes they are a victim of Lorenzo is asked to call CU Boulder Police on 303-492-6666.

Nicholas Joseph...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
