«Breaking Pic News» Wales turn Japanese city red ahead of 2019 World Cup

Wales have tried to steal a march on their World Cup rivals - by teaming up with a Japanese city ahead of the 2019 tournament.

Kitakyushu will turn red for Warren Gatland's men next year, with even fire engines flying the Welsh dragon, throwing their support behind Alun Wyn Jones' side.

Wales will hold a training camp in the city before the tournament, after they arrive 11 days before their opening game of the tournament against Georgia next September, looking to strengthen ties with the host nation and win over the locals - turning them into Wales fans for the tournament.

They will use the city of Kitakyushu Stadium, where Ryan Jones - the triple Six Nations Grand Slam winner and WRU's head of rugby participation - visited last month.

'The RWC presents an opportunity to build long lasting ties and we have kicked off our relationship ahead of the RWC to maximise the support for Wales,' said the former Wales captain.

'The city have been incredibly supportive of the team and we are very grateful to the mayor of Kitakyushu, Mr Kitahashi for his help in securing the training camp in the city and for throwing the weight of the region behind and in support of Wales.

'They want to turn their city red during the world cup and are encouraging their citizens to get behind the team in fourteen months' time.

'We have just kicked off our first community programme in the city with hundreds of children, coaches and referees benefiting from sessions held across the week. For us this is an opportunity to really deliver on legacy and to do it ahead of time.

'The benefit isn't only being felt by the participants but also but our staff who were on the ground delivering the programme.

'For them it is a great experience and career development and the effect of that will be felt back in Wales within their clubs, schools and communities.

'We are delighted to have formed this relationship and to be leading the way in terms of engagement and legacy in Japan.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
