«Breaking Pic News» Pupils at Taiwanese school are banned from feeding school dog

Students and teachers at a Taiwanese primary school are directed not to feed its pet dog anymore, after the spoiled pooch ballooned to a size of a cow. 

The pooch, named 'Little White Socks', became a guard dog at Wenhua Elementary School in Tamsui, New Taipei City after it was rescued by several students eight years ago.

The eight-year-old mixed-breed dog now weighs a whopping 50 kilograms (110 pounds) and desperately needs to lose weight.

Video footage of the overweight dog released by TTV News shows it staggering and swaying while walking on the school grounds and struggling to hop up the stairs.

'It's like a pig! I don't know even how it's able to stand up properly with those skinny legs,' a nearby store owner told reporters.

Little White Socks gained weight when it was not taken on any walks and fed constantly by students, teachers and canteen workers, according to the report.  

Concerned for its health, the school has now placed it on a strict diet and implemented a 'no feeding' rule. 

Students and teachers are also encouraged to take Little White Socks for walks and play catch with it. 

The beloved dog is very much like a celebrity at school, resident Ms Liu told MailOnline.

'Everybody just loves Little White Socks, it's a very quiet and well-behaved dog,' she said. 

'It will stand guard at the school entrance whenever the kids arrive or leave at school. I just hope that it can be healthy again.'

A dog's bones and joints and digestive organs could be affected by excessive weight, resulting in other serious adverse health effects.  

Obesity is common in dogs of all ages, but usually occurs in middle-aged dogs between the ages of 5 and 10.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
