«Breaking Pic News» Manchester United Supporters' Trust criticise Tottenham as moved fixture leaves fans out of pocket

Manchester United supporters have waded into the escalating row over Tottenham pushing back their fixture with Manchester City in October.

Issues with Tottenham's new stadium dictated they moved the game to October 29 at Wembley, meaning United's televised home clash with Everton has switched from Saturday lunchtime to Sunday afternoon that weekend.

United supporters' trust, MUST, slammed the decision, with thousands of fans now left out of pocket after already stumping up for hotels and travel arrangements.

A MUST statement read: 'The announcement by Sky, changing the date of the Man Utd v Everton fixture from its previously confirmed TV slot, is nothing short of naked commercial opportunism at the expense of match-going fans.

'The decision shows no regard for the many supporters who have made non-refundable travel arrangements following publication, on 7th August, of the confirmed October fixtures after changes for TV.

'It appears to be too late to reverse this unwarranted late change which has affected so many loyal supporters. We therefore call on Sky and the Premier League to commit to full financial compensation for any financial loss or additional costs incurred by supporters of both teams.

'We are seeking urgent dialogue with the broadcasters and the Premier League to address this specific issue and to establish new principles and processes to take proactive account of match-going supporters to prevent any recurrence of this regrettable issue. We are also in conversation with our own club to seek their support in these actions.'

City have their own concerns over the scheduling, with Pep Guardiola's side now likely to play three games in six days should they progress in the EFL Cup.

The Premier League champions have reservations over the state of Wembley's pitch given an NFL fixture between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles 24 hours beforehand.

City are laying on free coaches to the capital and are set for talks with Spurs over the cost implications of the change to a Monday night.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
