It's the part of any series of Big Brother that leaves the housemates in floods of tears.
And it was no different on Tuesday's episode, when Dan Osborne received a letter from home, written by his wife Jacqueline Jossa and their three-year-old daughter Ella.
Becoming extremely emotional as Sally Morgan recited the note, Dan was seen crying at the dining table as he listened to the words from his loved ones.
Emotional scenes: On Tuesday, Dan Osborne received a letter from home, written by his wife Jacqueline Jossa and their three-year-old daughter Ella
'Hi daddy - it's Ella. Mummy has helped me to write this,' the letter read. 'Mummy says you will be home soon and that you are at work so you can buy us more toys.
'Mummy told me you are doing so well at work we are proud of you and can't wait to give you a cuddle. Mummy says that baby Mia is looking more and more like you every day.'
The letter was rounded off with: 'Come home soon.'
This final touch was particularly poignant, after the much-publicised drama around Dan and his wife's marriage.

Cute: 'Hi daddy - it's Ella. Mummy has helped me to write this,' the letter read. 'Mummy says you will be home soon and that you are at work so you can buy us more toys'
Tears: The letter was rounded off with 'Come home soon.' This final touch was particularly poignant, after the much-publicised drama around Dan and his wife's marriage
Despite only having been married a year, Dan was accused of cheating on Jacqueline, while she was pregnant with their second child.
Mia was born in June, and the couple are thought to have been estranged, despite Dan hinting in the CBB house that he wants them to work the marriage out.
Also the recipient of a letter was Ryan Thomas who, after a distressing week, was more than ready to hear from his loved ones.
Having been accused by Roxanne Pallett of 'punching' her - which has since been proven as a false accusation - Ryan sat down to listen, clearly emotional.
Touching: Ryan Thomas recieved a letter from home on Tuesday's CBB. Read out by Sally, the letter was from Ryan's brother Scott, and left him in floods of tears
Tears all round: The letter left the whole group sobbing
Also read out by Sally, the letter was from Ryan's brother Scott, and left him in floods of tears.
'We are really proud. We know you're out of your comfort zone but trust me it's been well worth it,' Scott wrote.
'You have shown the nation how amazing you are and carried yourself so well. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Everyone has seen the real you.'
Referencing Ryan's daughter, Scott penned: 'Scarlett has been missing her daddy so so much. We have shown her some clips of you doing tasks and she smiles from ear to ear seeing daddy having so much fun.'
A tough time: 'We are really proud. We know you're out of your comfort zone but trust me it's been well worth it,' Scott wrote
Brotherly love: Sobbing, Ryan said 'I love you so much bro' as his fellow housemates rallied round him at the table
He also mentioned his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh saying how she was 'so proud' and 'happy everyone gets to see the Ryan she knows and loves'.
'Honestly just keep being you, you're doing us so proud,' Scott concluded.
Sobbing, Ryan said 'I love you so much bro' as his fellow housemates rallied round him at the table.
Scott appeared on CBB's Bit On The Side the night before, where he told Rylan Clark Neal that his family will never forgive Roxanne for dragging Ryan's name through the mud.
Speaking out: Scott revealed how difficult it's been for his family to watch Celebrity Big Brother, in the wake of the 'punch' scandal
'As a family we want to forgive but so much has come out of the woodwork since - and there's no smoke without fire,' he said.
Scott was referring to the fact that, since the ordeal, dozens of former colleagues of Roxanne's have flocked to Twitter with tales of similar instances in the past while they worked alongside her.
Scott also discussed how difficult the show has been to watch: 'I was sat at home literally in tears, Mum was on the phone crying. She can't get her head round it, she is watching her baby boy crying on the TV. It's been a massive test.'
Lauding his brother - who was accused of hitting ex-Emmerdale star Roxanne after play-fighting with her in the house - Scott said: 'He handled it like a superstar!'
Heartbreaking: 'He's like my dad, so to see him break down like that. It's his career, his whole life. I am just blown away by him and can't wait to give him a cuddle,' Scott added, affectionately
'A massive test': Appearing on sister show, CBB's Bit On The Side, the former Love Island contestant told Rylan Clark Neal 'I was sat at home literally in tears, Mum was on the phone crying. She can't get her head round it, she is watching her baby boy crying on the TV'
'He's like my dad, so to see him break down like that. It's his career, his whole life. I am just blown away by him and can't wait to give him a cuddle,' Scott added, affectionately.
Of the public support for his brother, Scott went on: 'We've not had to do much because the nation - the whole nation - has been behind it. So we have been able to sit back and let the nation do the talking.'
Scott also made sure to thank Emma Willis for the interview she did with Roxanne, which was shown on Monday night's main show. 'Thank you to Emma for not holding back,' he said.
Emma had been applauded by fans of the show for her hard-hitting interview with Roxanne - the second one to take place since she walked out of the show on Saturday morning.
Emotional: Ryan Thomas could hardly hold back the tears as he watched his housemate Sally Morgan risk his letter from home
Hitting back: Ryan's mum has said she will 'never forgive' Roxanne after the actress falsely accused her son of punching her on Celebrity Big Brother
Ryan's mother - Gail Waring - appeared on This Morning on Tuesday following Roxanne's public apology in which she stated she made a 'massive, horrible mistake'.
Gail revealed she has been unable to watch the Channel 5 show because she was too 'distressed' at seeing her 34-year-old son break down in tears after the punch row and expressed her worry at how long it would take for Ryan to pick himself back up again.
Speaking of the incident where Roxanne called Ryan a 'woman beater' after he playfully jabbed her, she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: 'I don't think I’ll ever forgive her.
'I'm the most hated girl in Britain': Roxanne told Emma Willis on Celebrity Big Brother on Monday night that she made a 'massive, horrible mistake' over her Ryan Thomas punch claim
'I just want Ryan to feel good in his own state of mind, that will help me forgive Roxy more if he can be normal again. He needs to have a personal apology.
'I was almost giggling with them as they were play fighting. I was still thinking it was playful. Was smiling at it. I never dreamt of the response from Roxanne.'
Appearing on a pre-recorded interview on Monday night, Roxanne told Emma Willis: 'I needed to come and tell everyone that I got it wrong, I'm human, I made a massive, massive, horrible mistake.'
When asked by Emma whether she felt she could be forgiven for the ordeal, the ex-Emmerdale star said: 'I would hope that I could be [forgiven].'
Second appearance: Roxanne's CBB interview was the second - appearing earlier on Monday on Jeremy Vine but Emma was praised for asking all the important questions

Becoming extremely...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
