«Breaking News» World's comfiest couch Maker&Son launches in Australia

Promising to leave every one of its competitors in its wake, a couch lauding itself as the 'world's comfiest' has made its way to Australia.

Maker&Son - a luxury furniture brand owned by a father and stepson duo - launched in early 2018, using solely Instagram and online marketing to catapult its way to mainstream success.

Hallmarked by an over-sized and pillow-based seat, the design allows buyers to curl up and sink into its comfort.

But in this case, comfort comes at a price - and a hefty one at that.

A full-sized Song sofa will set punters back $6,995.00 while its armchair counterpart is still steeply priced at $4,495.00.

However, the brand backs its choice of cost, claiming each piece is 'individually hand-made for ultimate comfort' from a design which took two years to perfect.

'Every piece is thoughtfully made and incredibly comfortable, with the option for bespoke designs or fabric alternatives,' its website says.

Online, buyers willing to splurge noted their delight at its aesthetic, with most agreeing that the brand has lived up to its brash claim of supreme comfort.

'They the most heavenly pieces of furniture you could ever imagine,' one wrote.

'It looks like the closest thing to sitting on a cloud,' said another.

But according to co-owner Alex Wilcock, it's the brand's digitally inspired sales strategy which sets the range apart , just as much as its comfort.

'Ninety per cent of our customers have purchased our furniture before ever having sat in it,' he said.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
