«Breaking News» Mia Tindall joins Zara and sister Lena at the horse trials on Gloucestershire

Zara Tindall's new baby daughter was seen in public for the first time as she joined her family at a horse trials today.

Three-month-old Lena Elizabeth, who was born June 18, remained tucked up in a blue babygrow as her mother competed at The Whately Manor International Horse Trials at Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire.

Lena, the youngest daughter of Zara and husband Mike Tindall, was carried around the grounds by close family friend Dolly Maude, who was a maid of honour at the couple's wedding.

Close at hand was her doting grandmother Princess Anne, 68, and her playful big sister Mia, four, who was spotted amusing herself on the grass.

Former Olympian Zara, 37, looked delighted to be at the event with both of her daughters and beamed as she climbed on her horse.

She was supported by her mother, Mrs Maude and a gaggle of other friends and grooms, who all kept an eye on her children as she competed.

Mischievous Mia appeared in excellent spirits and wiled away the time playing on the grass.

At one point she picked up a horse crop and charged across the field, as if pretending it was a javelin.

She was also seen playfully draping a towel across her head, much to the delight of the woman watching her.

After all the fun it was time for a break and Mia plopped herself on the grass where she was seen absent-mindedly chewing on the arm of her trendy sunglasses.

Mia was dressed in a white dress and grey hooded jumper, with a pair of grey ankle boots proving a practical choice for her day of activities.

A blue padded gillet with fluorescent pink piping was layered on top as the autimn chill set in.

Today also marked the first public outing for her little sister Lena, who was born in June.

Lena was pictured being held by Mrs Tindall's friend Dolly Maude, a maid of honour   at her wedding, as the royal competed in horse trials in Gloucestershire.

It came as Mrs Tindall today spoke of the heartbreak of suffering two miscarriages with her husband Mike, in an emotional and revealing interview.

The former Olympian discussed the impact both deaths had on the couple - in her first televised interview about their double loss.

Speaking about the miscarriages, she told BBC Breakfast presenter Sally Nugent: 'I think that's the hardest thing in our situation, is that everyone knew.

'And very much when things like that happen, normally it's just your family and friends, but unfortunately everyone knew about it.

'Actually I had so many letters saying 'I'm so sorry, we've been through the same thing', which was incredible - and thank you to all those people.

'But it just showed how often it does happen and I have a very supportive family, Mike's incredible – and it's hard for the guys too.

She continued: 'It's very different for us because we're carrying the child, but for guys I guess it's kind of that helpless feeling, which must be incredibly high and horrible for them. At the end of the day they've still lost a child too.'

The equestrian champion, who won BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2006, first revealed to a newspaper in July how she had suffered two miscarriages before having her second child.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
