It's the TV event that marks the beginning of the festive season - the arrival of the Christmas adverts.
And Marks and Spencer were spotted filming their own much-anticipated festive campaign this week, transforming a small Scottish town into a snowy scene for the occasion.
The retailer started filming in West London earlier in the month, and was seen bringing a snowstorm to a market square in the Scottish Border town of Kelso for the official 2018 M&S Christmas advert this week.
In behind the scenes footage, a couple is seen standing by a Christmas tree as the town is lit up with festive lights and a faux blizzard.

Stood against a retro metallic catering van with the M&S initials lit up, a couple- dressed in their winter woollies hold hands as they pose next to the trees.
While the man sports a black wool coat and trousers, he holds hand with a woman wearing a bobble hat, faux fur gilet and jumper dress.
As the lights flicker on, the smiling couple walk towards the camera as off-camera local crowds watch the action unfolding.

The retailer, who began filming in West London earlier in the month, was seen bringing a snowstorm to a market square in the Scottish Border town of Kelso for the official 2018 M&S advert
Filming began in West London at the beginning of the month, with the advert's apparent main star, a brunette model, wearing a camel coat and a white beret and carrying M&S bags as she shopped for gifts.
Last year saw Marks & Spencer rolling out Paddington Bear to take on John Lewis’s Moz the Monster in a competition that saw experts voting John Lewis the Yuletide winnner, based on the levels of interest generated across social media.
2018's closely guarded theme is said to be based on the stars receiving Christmas surprises as they walk along a festive high street in what is to be a 'feelgood' ad.

While Take That are rumoured to be providing the music for the ad, Holly Willoughby and Dame Helen Mirren are said to also be featuring.
The chain’s bosses are hoping that by recruiting 73-year-old acting royalty Dame Helen and 37-year-old This Morning star Holly they will be able to appeal to shoppers across the generations.
While M&S may be looking to Take That, Holly and Helen to boost yuletide sales, John Lewis is said to have Elton John lined up for the latest incarnation of its famous Christmas commercial.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
