«Breaking News» Katherine the great white shark reappears off of North Carolina

A great white shark known as Katherine has reappeared on tracking maps off the coast of North Carolina after not being seen since January. 

The shark is tagged with a marker that pings a satellite every time her dorsal fin breaks the surface of the water, and the last time she was spotted was on January 5 off of Bermuda. 

She reappeared on Thursday off of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

Researchers first tagged Katherine (above) in 2013 when she was caught off of Cape Cod

Glad to see her were Katherine's nearly 60,000 followers on Twitter. 

Katherine was tagged in August of 2013 by OCEARCH, a great white shark research and advocacy team, off Cape Cod, Massachusetts. 

The great white shark was named in honor of Katharine Lee Bates, a Cape Cod native and songwriter who is best known for her poem and song America The Beautiful.

At the time she was tagged, Katharine weighed 2,300 pounds and was 14 feet, two inches long.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
