Olivia and Alex tied the knot on Saturday at Gosfield Hall, which boasts 10 acres of elegant grounds, in the blonde beauty's native Essex.

The reality stars are the first Love Island couple to say 'I do' after meeting on the beloved ITV2 series in 2016.

Decadent Gosfield Hall, which boasts 23 luxurious bedroom suites for up to 67 guests, can seat up to 116 guests under 'crystal chandeliers and double-height mirrors' in their main dining hall, the Marquis of Buckingham's Ballroom.

Following a night of celebration, the lovebirds are thought to have spent their first night as husband and wife in the Rococco Bridal Suite, which was decorated during the residency of King Louis XVIII.

Having met on the 2016 series of ITV2's Love Island, Olivia and Alex came in second place behind Cara and her fiancé Nathan Massey.

Following their stint on the popular series, the couple quickly moved in together in her native Essex in August 2016, before Alex popped the question during a romantic trip to New York that December after just five months of dating.

Hunky scaffolder and fitness model Alex ignored claims that the couple were only a 'showmance' and popped the question after whisking Olivia away to a romantic trip to the Big Apple.

Despite coming in second place to Nathan and Cara, the couple won over the hearts of the nation.

Since then Olivia revealed that she was feeling the pressure of organising her special day, admitting that she was on the path to becoming a bridezilla after saying yes to a £2,069 Sophia Tolli dress on the TLC reality show in May.

Speaking to MailOnline last year, she said: 'I think I might turn into Bridezilla at some point, just waiting for it to happen.'

The wedding hasn't been without drama as it was revealed Olivia reportedly had a row with her former best friend and Love Island co-star Cara De La Hoyde over bridesmaid duties.

The businesswoman has since declared that she realises who her 'real friends are' after her pal revealed she would no longer be attending her wedding.

Writing in her column for last week's new! magazine, Olivia admitted she and Cara 'haven't spoken for a bit', but insisted 'everything is fine' between the pair.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
