Harlequins have long looked flash in their famous quartered shirts – but now they will bring new meaning to that phrase with their new charity shirt.
Sportsmail can exclusively reveal the design for the kit Quins will play in against Wasps in the annual ‘Big Game’ at Twickenham on December 29.
In a first for a rugby shirt it will seemingly light up when captured by flash photography.

Harlequins are renowned for their distinctive quartered jersey in blue, brown, red and grey
Designed by adidas it is designed to ‘come alive’ thanks to ‘colour reflective technology’ often seen in running and cycling gear.
However, it will look dull to fans in the stadium as the neon colours will not visibly shine out from the light of the Twickenham floodlights.
The shirt itself is a grey/black colour with a blue stripe on the left sleeve and a red one on the right.

Quins have produced a bespoke shirt for their ‘Big Game’ every year, with some money from the sale of the jerseys going to charity.
This year £5 from the sale of each shirt will go to the Harlequins Foundation who support various community projects.
Quins play Wasps in the game after Christmas – it remains to be seen if former England coach Paul Gustard’s revolution will have taken hold by then, or is just a flash in the pan.

I...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
