David Beckham today complained about being stuck in London traffic as his lawyer 'Mr Loophole' was across the city trying to get his speeding charge thrown out.
The former England captain, 43, was allegedly caught driving a £200,000 Bentley at 59mph in a 40mph zone in January.
Celebrity lawyer Nick Freeman is representing him at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court - but Mr Beckham is not required to attend and he went to catch a Eurostar to Paris, where his wife Victoria is already enjoying fashion week.
Before his train he was in one of his luxury cars and posted on Instagram: 'London traffic. Angry' alongside a cartoon character with steam coming out of its ears.
In Wimbledon Mr Freeman indicated a not guilty plea on 43-year-old Beckham's behalf today arguing a police error meant a speeding letter was not sent to his new west London mansion.

Mr Freeman indicated a not guilty plea on 43-year-old Beckham's behalf because he claimed legal papers about the offence were not served on time
The trial at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court heard from four witnesses today regarding the sending of a notice of intended prosecution, which is said to have arrived a day outside the statutory 14-day window.
Mr Freeman is fighting the charge on the basis that the notice, sent on February 2, arrived at Bentley Motors on February 7, a day outside the statutory window and was therefore 'defective'.
In his submission he told the court: 'If the Crown can't prove that the letter was sent by first class post then the concept that it arrives in two working days goes out of the window.
'It would be unsafe to allow these proceedings to go any further.'
But District Judge Barbara Barnes ruled there was a case to answer to and the trial went ahead.
Prosecutor Charles Royle said: 'This is an allegation of speeding on the West Way in a Bentley Motor vehicle on 23 January.
'The average sped recorded was 59 mph and the sped limit on that section of the A40 was 40 mph.
'He (Beckham) was the driver at the time of the alleged offence.'
Mr Royle added the letter was posted on February 2 and argued it was within the time limit.
The ex-footballers' legal counsel was asked by the judge if Beckham would be appearing at court.
'I don't anticipate it,' he replied.

She expressed concern that if the star lost his license, then the consequences would need to be made clear to him.
'If the case goes against him and if the result is disqualification then I will make it abundantly clear,' replied his counsel.
Mr Freeman is sometimes referred to as 'Mr Loophole' and has written a book called 'The Art of the Loophole.'
In 1999 he represented Beckham, who received an eight month ban for driving his Ferrari at 76mph in a 50 mph zone.
Freeman successfully appealed against disqualification by arguing that Beckham was being pursued by paparazzi near his home in Cheshire.
Beckham made his name as a midfielder at Manchester United in the 1990s before going on to play for Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.
He also earned 115 caps for the national side. He retired from playing in 2013.
Beckham denies breaking the speed limit.
The trial continues.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
