«Breaking News» Daughter, eight, 'screamed "Please Daddy, stop" as father stabbed her to death'

An eight-year-old girl cried 'Please Daddy, no Daddy, stop it ' as her father dragged her into the house and stabbed her to death, a court has heard.

William Billingham, 55, is accused of plunging the murdering his eight-year-old daughter Mylee when her mother, Tracey Taundry, came to collect her from his bungalow near Walsall.

Birmingham Crown Court heard the father-of-six pulled out a kitchen knife and held it to the throat of Tracey on his doorstep before telling her 'I'm going to f***ing kill you'.

Billingham then grabbed his daughter and pulled her back into his house by her coat hood, slamming shut the door as she shouted 'Mummy, Mummy', the jury heard.

When the police arrived, they found the youngster covered in blood from a wound to her chest. She was pronounced dead at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Jurors were told the most likely explanation for the killing was Billingham's jealousy of his ex-partner after she started a lesbian relationship.

Bisexual Ms Taundry had started seeing a woman named Lindsey Andrews which caused Billingham to believe he would see less of his children, it was claimed.

Describing the events that led up to Mylee's death, Kamil Khalil QC, prosecuting said: 'On January 20 it was agreed Mylee would stay over with the defendant that night. Tracey said she would Facetime later.

'She then saw a Facebook post of Mylee sitting on defendant's bed eating pizza – she took some screenshots of Mylee from defendant's Facebook page.

'At about 8.25pm, Mylee used the defendant's phone to speak to Tracey. Tracey asked to speak to defendant, but Mylee told Tracey that defendant didn't want to talk to her.'

The prosecutor continued: 'Mylee then said that her neck and throat hurt, so Tracey asked if Mylee wanted to come home and have some Calpol - she did.

'Tracey made phone contact with the defendant who agreed that Tracey should come over to his home and collect Mylee.

'Lindsey was with Tracey but Tracey didn't want the defendant to know this, so although Lindsey drove Tracey to his home, she parked out of sight.

'Tracey walked to defendant's home and knocked on the door – he answered and asked if Tracey was alright. He then said that Mylee was ready. Mylee came out of the kitchen but was looking tearful.

'As Tracey and Mylee turned to walk away, Tracey heard a 'tink' sound – she turned and saw a large black-handled knife on the doorstep.

'The defendant immediately bent down and picked it up. He said, "this isn't happening", stepped out of the doorway and put the knife against the side of Tracey's neck.

'As he did so he said, "I'm going to f***g kill you". Tracey moved away - she also pushed Mylee away and started to run but she but slipped to the floor.

'Tracey saw William grab Mylee by the hood of her coat and start to drag Mylee back towards the bungalow.

'All the time Mylee was shouting, 'Mummy, Mummy' and 'Please Daddy, no Daddy, stop it!'. He dragged Mylee into the bungalow and slammed the front door shut behind them.'

Ms Taundry could hear her daughter shouting inside but could not open the front door.

Police aimed a taser at Billingham to arrest him, but did not use it.

After he underwent surgery for a stomach wound he was questioned by police but said he could not remember anything about the day of the killing.

Prosecutor Mr Khalid said: 'His killing of Mylee was swift; deliberate; clinical; brutal – it was not a manic unfocused assault. He knew precisely what he was doing.

'The killing is most likely explained by the jealousy that the defendant felt towards Tracey Taundry and her new partner.

'He believed that he would see less of the children and he was not prepared to accept this situation, especially with regard to Mylee.

'The most direct evidence of that is the undisputed evidence that when Tracey came to collect her daughter from the defendant's home that he secretly armed himself with a kitchen knife.'

Billingham, who is the brother of TV's SAS Who Dares Wins star Mark Billingham, denies murder. The trial continues.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
