The number one thing nearly everyone will say they value in a toilet? That it's the only one in the room.
Yet some very poorly-designed bathrooms spotted by Twitter, Reddit, and Imgur users show multiple toilets crammed into the same space, at times even facing each other for a truly boundary-crossing experience.
Others have posted horrifying images of doors that don't cover very much, urinals at awkward angles, and toilet paper that's much too far away to reach.
A few have even found clear glass walls, or else no walls at all — with one Redditor recently happening upon an Airbnb that had a functioning toilet in the middle of a landing in a set of stairs.
The funny and distributing images are sure to have anyone feeling thankful for the comfort of their own commode — and hopeful they never encounter these weird designs in real life.

Some privacy, please? It's almost like whoever designed this bathroom thought simply putting a bit of space between the toilets was enough

His and hers: These side-by-side toilets are way, way, way too close for comfort

Why even bother? It's possible the person who installed these doors accidentally put them in upside down — but for some reason, they still walked away and patted themselves on the back

Pivot! Sure, these urinals have nice little walls for privacy — at least for the end ones. Any guy who goes in the middle is sure to put on a show

Well, the bits are hidden, at least! In some sort of misguided money-saving effort, someone decided just covered up the toilet was private enough

At odd angles: There may be three urinals in this bathroom, but it seems unlikely anyone would be willing to pee while someone else is already using one

Space-saving measures! Yes, combining a bathroom and a kitchen saves space — but you know what they say about going where you eat

Stop and stare: All this bathroom needs is a chess set in the middle

Tushy time! Are all the private bits hidden? Sure. But everyone in this bathroom will still be butt to butt... to butt

A step up: One Redditor was horrified to notice this toilet at an Airbnb

Huh... Wonder if the owners of this home consider this a 'half bath'

Awkward... This situation could make for some very, very personal staring contests

When practicality goes out the window: Any person using this toilet would have to waddle, pants around his or her ankles, to get to the toilet paper

Honeymoon is over! Just because you'll share a hotel room with someone does not mean you're OK with them seeing you on the toilet

Not hiding anything! The stalls in this public bathroom have frosted doors

How odd! This layout isn't so much awkward or embarrassing, just totally impractical. A toilet right in the middle, really?

Wait, someone's gonna need that! This hotel bathroom has the toilet paper in another room from the toilet

Tucked away... While in this bathroom, the roll is hidden inside the cabinet

That's tight! Space was clearly limited when this toilet was hooked up halfway under the sink

Lean forward! Anyone using this toilet would have to sit at a very awkward angle

They sell those? Even a very, very thin person would have a hard time sitting on this super-skinny toilet

Look closely... At first glance, this bathroom seems normal. But just think about how absolutely filthy that carpet must be!

What a choice! Oddly, just one of the urinals in this public bathroom is sectioned off for privacy

Variety's the spice of life! This super-short door might hide a person's face, but it won't disguise the business. Even stranger? The stall next to it is a normal length

Art over function: The doors in this bathroom have a 'decorative' design — that features spiral cut-outs for a peek at what's inside

Gross! It seems like this 'sink' might have been re-purposed

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
