«Breaking News» Aldi Lacura restocks GlamGlow-inspired charcoal beauty range

Aldi is bracing itself for a shopping frenzy after restocking its cult charcoal beauty range which sold out nationwide earlier this year.

Back in stores and online today, the four-piece range from its Lacura concession is inspired by luxury skincare products but starts at just £1.49.

Buyers declared this week it was back by popular demand following its phenomenal success that saw it fly off shelves with sellers flogging pieces for as much as four times the original price on eBay.

The standout piece is a £5.99 mud mask that has drawn comparisons to GlamGlow's Youthmud 'Tinglexfoliate' treatment which is priced at £42 for 50g.

There is also a £5.99 foam cleanser which bears a striking resemblance to a high-end product from GlamGlow.

Used with water, the cleanser is formulated to minimise pores and gently exfoliate skin, leaving it visibly clearer and mattified.

All four pieces from the relaunched Lacura range contain activated charcoal, billed as a 'wonder ingredient' which is believed to draw out microparticles from the skin's surface.

The collection in its entirety costs just over £15 with manufacturers claiming buyers' skin will start to 'glow' in just one week - feeling 'totally cleansed, refreshed, soft and mattified' after the first month.

As with much of Aldi's beauty offering the range is part of its Specialbuys line meaning there is limited stock available for a short time only.

Shoppers are expected to snap up the charcoal micellar water (£1.99), designed to lift impurities and makeup as part of a daily cleansing routine.

The charcoal face wipes (£1.49 for a pack of 25) will also no doubt prove popular. Infused with bamboo fibre, with hazel and chamomile, they are designed for easy makeup removal for women on the go.

Aldi has won over legions of fans with its budget beauty range inspired by pricey designer offerings.

Earlier this year the supermarket unveiled plans to expand its bestselling Lacura line, with is spring collection hitting stores in May - featuring more copycat products than ever.

Due to the popularity of the range, products often crop up on eBay selling at more than double the original price as shoppers scramble to get their hands on them.

Buyers ...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
