«Breaking News» Céline Dion, 50, makes another youthful style statement as she steps out in Paris

Her increasingly bold fashion statements have commanded more attention than her music over recent days, and Céline Dion ensured her latest public appearance was no different as she stepped out in Paris on Thursday.

The Canadian singer, 50, made a game attempt at colour blocking by sporting a sky blue woollen blazer over a vibrant red turtleneck while making her way into the French capital’s five-star Plaza Athénée.

Black dungarees served to balance the overall look, but her decision to leave them unbuttoned revealed a garish leopard print lining.

Glossy red stilettos added to the look, while heavily tinted sunglasses rounded things off as she made her way inside.

The appearance comes after the iconic singer addressed her notably 'slimmer figure', iconic sense of style, and rumours of a relationship with 'toyboy' Pepe Munoz.

Referencing her quirky fashion choices, she told The Sun: 'If I like it, I don't want to talk about it. Don't bother. Don't take a picture. If you like it, I'll be there. If you don't, leave me alone.'

She also told Lorraine: 'It [an interest in fashion] has always been part of me, but the way we used to work before was maybe more conservative.

'If now I have an opportunity to wear haute couture and the things that make me feel beautiful, strong, fearless, feminine attractive… even if it was just for me. You cannot please everyone all of the time.'

Céline refers to her late husband, Rene Angelil as the 'greatest man who ever lived.' He was the only man she had ever kissed and discovered her talent when she was 12.

He sadly passed away three years ago, from cancer, when he was aged 73 - and her brother tragically passed away in the same week.

Céline addresses rumours that she is now dating 'toyboy' Pepe Munoz, a Spanish backing dancer, who is always by her side as she brands herself 'single'.

The pair have previously denied any sort of romance, but Céline can see why there is an interest in her 'best friend' who trains her and makes sure she is in the best shape.

He's my handsome best friend: 'Yeah, there's another man in my life, but not THE man in my life. We bonded right away as friends, it evolved... but let's not mix everything,' she said of her friendship with Pepe Munoz

'I don’t mind (the reports) because he’s handsome and he’s my best friend. When I say I am single, please leave me alone.'

'We're best friends. Of course we hug and hold hands and go out, so people see that. I mean, he's giving me his hand to go out.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
