«Breaking News» Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are 'overjoyed' to welcome second child

Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher are in a very good place.

The couple are 'overjoyed' to have welcomed their second child Jacob this week as they were faced with several challenges before his arrival, according to People.

'They are just so beyond overjoyed with their healthy baby,' the source said. 'It has been a rough few years with the miscarriages and the accident and they didn’t even know if they’d get to this point.'

The accident is the December 2017 fall the singer had in her home that left her with 40 stitches to her face.

'They’re feeling truly blessed,' the source added.

The 35-year-old country singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the good news of Jacob's arrival as she posted several photos from the hospital room.

'Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday...his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!' wrote the former American Idol contestant.

Addition:  Underwood announced on Wednesday that she has welcomed her baby boy with husband Mike Fisher. The country singer took to Instagram to share the good news as she posted several photos from the hospital room

She added, 'Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good...'

The images included a photo of her with no makeup on as she smiled with pride while holding her new child.

There was also an image of Mike, 38, with Jacob and another of Mike looking down on their first child, Isaiah, as he held the newborn. 

The Love Wins singer announced her second pregnancy in August.

Carrie shared the happy news on her Instagram account as she told fans she was starting her tour in May 2019 with the camera close to her face.

As the camera panned out, a sign behind could be seen - it said 'Baby,' which she confirmed as she said she and Mike were expecting another baby.

She confirmed it was a boy at the CMA Awards in November 2018. 

Carrie and the former NHL player met at one of her concerts in 2008; they got engaged in December 2009.

The lovebirds tied the knot seven months later in Greensboro, Georgia at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation.

They welcomed their son Isaiah Michael in February 2015. 

The new baby is happy news after a scary accident that left her with 40 stitches in her face.

Though the scars are not easily visible, the crooner insisted it was terrible and caused her great anxiety as she did 'not quite looking the same.'

Carrie had a freak accident at her home in December 2017 when she was taking her two dogs for a walk. She said, 'I went to catch myself and I just missed a step,' she said.  

'I don’t know if I’ll ever be done talking about it, because it was an event in my life,' said the blonde beauty. 'And, I mean, I’m OK talking about it.'

The baby news comes just after they shared they adopted a puppy.

The singer and the former professional hockey player adopted a furry friend - naming him Zero.

Mike shared the good news on Sunday via Instagram; he wrote: 'Meet the newest member of our family! Isaiah affectionately named him Zero.'

He added, 'I guess it fits because it's the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home #GSD.'

The athlete shared a sweet snap of the pup as he sweetly gazed at the camera; he tagged Cedar Valley Canine, where they got the dog.

Cedar Valley Canine, which is located 10 miles northwest of Nashville, also shared a picture of the Fisher's new dog, adding: 'Little Zero needs those big ears to hear all the new things he's learning!!'  

Zero is their third dog - they are also fur parents to Ace and Penny.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
