«Breaking News» Keira Knightley shows off her quirky sense of style in rose-print gown at BAFTA

It's been a huge week for Keira Knightley after she received an OBE for services to drama and charity on Thursday.

And on Monday night, the acclaimed actress, 33, was celebrating again as the discussed her career at an A Life in Pictures event hosted by BAFTA in London.

The Atonement star and fashion fan looked gorgeous in a dramatic rose-print gown for her big night as she arrived at BAFTA HQ in Piccadilly.

Keira showed off her quirky sense of style in her maxi dress, with its busy floral print and bold red colour palette.

The frilled hem showed off the actress' classic black patent pumps while she kept accessories to a minimum to show off her beautiful dress.

With her dark locks loosely curled and flowing around her shoulders, framing her flawless face of makeup, Keira was ready for the cameras.

The event saw Keira discuss her 15 year career on screen with an audience of fans.

Just days ago Keira was celebrating with her husband James Righton and her parents as she received an OBE for her services to drama and charity at Buckingham Palace, after partnering with charities including WaterAid and Oxfam. 

The star scored her breakthrough role as a football-loving teenager in Bend It Like Beckham 15 years ago.

Often considered a quintessential English rose character, Keira has portrayed women from across several centuries in a number of period dramas, including Pride & Prejudice, The Edge Of Love and The Duchess.

She shot to global fame as Elizabeth Swann in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom at the age of 17 and reprised the role in three other films.

She was first nominated for an Oscar in 2006, as best actress for Pride & Prejudice, and again for best supporting actress for The Imitation Game in 2015.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
