«Breaking News» Florida elementary school security officer arrested for sexually assaulting blindfolded girl

A security officer at Booker T. Washington Elementary School in Tampa, Florida, has been arrested for sexually assaulting a six-year-old student while she was blindfolded.

Malcolm Curtis Tillman, 22, was arrested Wednesday after an allegation by the girl was backed up by forensic evidence, according to The Tampa Bay Times. 

He was charged with sexually battering a child younger than 12, which could mean life in prison.

The girl had told investigators she was taken to a 'game room' at the school by the security officer on January 10. There, he told her to sit with her hands behind her back, according to a report and affidavit.

Tillman allegedly raised no red flags during background checks, psychological evaluation and training when he was hired last July

Tillman was employed as a security guard at Booker T. Washington Elementary School in Tampa, Florida, as part of a statewide mandate to station guardians at schools

Tillman 'told (her) not to be scared,' after he covered her girl's eyes and nose with a black fleece jacket before sexually battering her. When she removed the jacket, the girl saw Tillman's pants unbuttoned, according to the records. 

Tillman then allegedly said to the girl 'they were all good'.

The 22-year-old admitted to being alone with the girl in the room, but denies the accusation claiming that he believed the student was victim of neglect and that he 'wanted to determine how safe she was at home.'

The student had reported the incident on that day, and she was able to show authorities the black fleece jacket still in the game room on the back of a couch. 

Tillman denied the allegations but did admit to being alone with the girl, claiming he was concerned she was a victim of child neglect

Investigators found Tillman's semen on two areas of the jacket, according to the report. 

The school security officer passed a criminal background check, a psychological evaluation and went through extensive training, and had was recommended by a previous employer, according to Tanya Arja, school district spokeswoman.

'The district took the time to thoroughly screen applicants for our officer positions,' said Arja. 'In fact, we partnered with law enforcement agencies to guarantee we would have coverage at our schools while a thorough screening process took place.' 

Tillman's hiring in July was part of a statewide mandate to station a guardian at every Florida elementary school, but he was in a probationary period when he was removed from the school and fired upon his arrest.

'I am disgusted and shocked by this arrest,' Principal Jaime Gerding told parents in a message about Tillman. 'We trusted him to protect our students and staff and he broke that trust.' 

According to arrest records, Tillman is being held in Hillsborough County Jail on a $250,000 bond

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
