«Breaking News» Dylan Dreyer reveals she was a stock model during her days working at CVS

Today's Dylan Dreyer has revealed how she once was a stock-photo model to earn a few extra bucks when she was 16 years old.

The topic came about on the Today show Thursday morning when the 37-year-old meteorologist was speaking with Al Roker, Craig Melvin, and Willie Geist about CVS' 'Beauty Mark' initiative that would label ads if they are retouched or not.

'Twenty years ago, I was a calendar girl,' Dylan admitted while speaking about her time when working behind the counter at CVS.

Amazing: Today's Dylan Dreyer, 37, shared her time as a stock-photo model in high school during a Thursday segment on the show

While working at the drugstore, Dylan said she was approached by a man who wanted to know if she would consider 'stock photography'.

'So I said, "I don't know what that is, what do you mean?"' Dylan explained.

'So he said, "You take random pictures of you like holding a mug or you like looking surprised. We pay you and then different articles can take these stock pictures to put along with their article."'

Dylan agreed to let her photo be taken after first consulting with her mother. But in hindsight, the Today show host admitted the offer was slightly creepy.

'I did a lot in this guy's basement,' she said as her co-hosts appeared visibly shocked by the situation.

To that, Al said: 'This does not sound right.'

The segment showed two pictures of Dylan from her stock modeling days, one of which showing her in an outdoor setting while another was to model workout clothes.

Slightly creepy? Dylan admitted the pictures were taken in the man's basement, but she said her mother approved the shoots

Ultimately, the job earned Dylan some extra spending money while in high school. She appeared in calendars as well as ads for CVS unretouched, which is why she decided to bring up the story.

The 'Beauty Mark' movement at CVS has already labeled 70 per cent of the drugstore's ads with 'beauty unaltered' or 'digitally altered' nationwide.

By 2020, the company is hoping to have all ads in its stores labeled to inform customers of what they are viewing.

'We believe by not putting significantly altered images in our stores, it’s aligning to what our customers want and expect to see,' Kevin Hourican, president of CVS Pharmacy, told Reuters

Brands committed to this new imitative include Neutrogena, Revlon, Covergirl, and 10 other companies advertised in the CVS stores.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
