Dancing on Ice star Gemma Collins admits her gruelling rehearsals have reduced her to tears as she endeavours to win a positive response from acid-tongued judge Jason Gardiner.
In a short Instagram video posted by professional skate partner Matt Evers, the pair revealed they were putting in the hours after receiving low scores from the panel – and a scathing critique from Gardiner – on Sunday night.
Looking exhausted after a three-hour session on the ice, Gemma, 37, told followers: ‘I’m absolutely working my butt off, I’m mastering the steps. There’s been tears because I’m just so determined to get it right.’

Matt added: 'I’m actually very proud of Gemma this week. We have put in extra time. Her skating is coming along, we have taken on what the judges have said in terms of the skills we need to work on and we are doing that.
'I really hope you enjoy this week’s routine, it’s very emotional and it means a lot to both of us.'
Dancing On Ice Associate Creative Director Daniel Whiston - who was formerly a professional skater on the show - also gave her a ringing endorsement by revealing she's been hard at work on the ice.

He told Sun Online: 'Gemma has been working really hard this week, putting in the training hours and really concentrating on improving her skating skills and learning her routine.
'I think she wants to go out and she wants to go out and show everyone what she's made of, and put on the best performance she can.'
Gemma's performance on Sunday evening was overshadowed by a fiery confrontation with show judge Gardiner, who she accused of selling stories about her.

Chatting on Heart radio, Matt addressed the Australian judge's comments, which saw him brand Gemma 'a disgrace to humanity' among other equally nasty remarks.
'When it comes to Dancing On Ice, you have a choice to go through the ITV press office to release interviews and statements. It’s in house,' Matt said. 'On Thursday, the story came out that she was a disgrace to humanity.

'ITV came to us, as she was really upset by it, to say that it came from Jason himself. It sounds like [he has been selling stories on her].'
The judging panel, including Gardiner, told Gemma she didn't dance enough in her routine on Sunday, which Matt also responded to.
He said: 'There wasn’t a lot of content... we didn’t have a lot of rehearsal time with her this week. She respected that [but] word has it [Jason] sold some stories and she went for gold.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
