«Breaking News» Trump reportedly approves $750B defense budget AFTER telling other departments to make cuts

President Donald Trump has agreed to the Pentagon’s demands to boost military spending even though he said he would order all federal agencies to trim their budgets, including for defense.

Trump told Defense Secretary James Mattis to prepare a $750billion budget proposal for fiscal year 2020, according to Politico.

The number was agreed upon after a meeting at the White House on Tuesday between Trump, Mattis, and Republican lawmakers.

‘It’s 750. Secretary Mattis secured that over lunch with the president,’ an administration official told Politico.

‘That’s the top line.’

The $750billion figure would represent a dramatic turnabout for the President, who recently said that the $716billion spent by the military for fiscal year 2019 was ‘crazy.’

Mattis and other members of the military brass aimed to get the President to agree to $733billion.

In October, Trump said that military spending would be trimmed by 5 per cent - bringing it down to $700billion.

But Mattis, Navy Secretary Richard Spencer, and other senior officers publicly protested.

Pentagon officials were preparing a plan that was in line with Trump’s demand to trim spending to the $700billion mark, but that plan was scrapped.

Instead, top generals began work on a $733billion proposal.

Trump said the $750billion was a ‘negotiating tactic’ that was intended to dissuade Democrats from forcing the final number to drop below $733billion.

Congress would have to approve the $750billion, which would represent a number beyond the Budget Control Act spending caps.

Sources told Politico, however, that the decision isn’t final and Trump could still change his mind.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
