«Breaking News» Miley Cyrus admits her mother Tish is responsible for her smoking weed again

She has often spoken candidly of her previous drug use, revealing last summer that she had decided to quit smoking marijuana.

And now Miley Cyrus, 26, has revealed that her mother Tish, 51, is the reason she has begun smoking weed again.

The pop star - who rose to fame when she starred in Disney's Hannah Montana - admitted that she's restarted smoking weed with her mum, but only when she's not working.

She told The Sun: 'We toke a little. Every now and then, you know. My mum got me back on it. 

'When I'm just working I don't think I function at my highest, most intelligent, most being-able-to-be-as-aware-and-as-present, so I don't smoke when I work.'

The revelation comes just over a year after Miley addressed her decision to quit smoking weed in an interview with The Sun.

Last September, she explained that she wanted to keep a 'clear-head' to work on her new music and album Younger Now.

The Wrecking Ball singer claimed that smoking the drug had affected her energy levels and hindered her ability as a performer. 

She told the publication: 'It doesn't allow me to have as much energy as I'd like to have or to focus on my work... I really want to be clear about my music.

'For me, I wanted to be clear-headed.'

The blonde beauty first spoke of her decision to quit smoking marijuana in May 2017, admitting during an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon that 'no one has ever smoked as much as I did'.

The revelation that Miley has started smoking weed again, thanks to her mother, comes after she recently spoke about how she's trying to stay positive despite the devastating loss of her Malibu home.

Last month, the Nothing Breaks Like A Heart singer's home, which she shares with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, in Malibu was destroyed by the massive Woolsey wildfire. 

Speaking on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, she said: 'Honestly, I'm in a really good kind of healing place right now.

The daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, who is busy promoting her new single Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, said her father has given her valuable advice following the devastating wildfire.

She explained: 'My dad has always told me, "Life is a series of adjustments." 

'Sometimes we never understand what our parents are telling us until we start to experience life more because they learn those things as they go.  

'So I'm starting to really understand what that means now.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
