«Breaking News» McCain's confidant admits in deposition that he handed out copies of Trump golden showers dossier

A court filing from Wednesday has identified the man who passed on the infamous dirty dossier to Buzzfeed – an event that led to publication of a British spy's research into Trump-Russia ties as well as other salacious claims.

The filing came in connection to a federal judge's ruling in favor of BuzzFeed, which published the dossier compiled by ex-British intelligence officer Chris Steele in January 2017, just weeks after the election and days before Donald Trump took office.

It revealed that the source that provided it to the publication was David Kramer, a former State Department official who serves as an executive at the John McCain institute.

It came to light as part of Judge Ursula Ungaro, who ruled against a businessman who claims he was defamed by BuzzFeed's publication of the lengthy unconfirmed document, which outlined a series of findings of Trump associates and their ties to Russia.

Kramer got hold of the dossier following a November 2016 meeting with Steele, the Washington Examiner reported.  He learned about it at the Halifax International Security Forum, where according to his bio at the McCain Institute he is a member of the board of directors.

McCain, the late former senior senator and Republican presidential nominee, sent him to London to meet with Steele. McCain's link was previously known, but not the aide who carried out his instructions.

He subsequently got the dossier from Glenn Simpson, whose political intelligence firm Fusion GPS had contracted Steele, and whose firm received payment from the law firm of the lawyer who represented Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Among other things, the memos in the dossier stated that the Russians likely had compromising information on Donald Trump.

The filing notes that there is a dispute over whether Kramer actually handed over the document itself.

'The parties dispute whether Kramer gave [reporter Ken] Bensinger a copy or whether Bensinger took photos of the Dossier when Kramer was not looking,' according to the judge's filing.

'Kramer testified that Bensinger took photos of the Dossier when Kramer was out of the room, even though he asked Bensinger not to,' the judge wrote, although she said 'in a later declaration, Kramer stated that he had no objection to Bensinger taking a hard copy and had provided hard copies to other journalists.'

Kramer served in various positions at State, including as a Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, as well as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs with responsibility for Russia and surrounding nations.

The judge ruled Wednesday that online publication BuzzFeed is not liable for publishing the dossier, which at the time was circulating through high levels of the U.S. government.

It contained unverified and salacious claims about Donald Trump's conduct in a Moscow hotel room during the 2013 Miss Universe pageant.

Cyprus-based businessman Aleksej Gubarev sued, claiming defamation after the document linked him to the Russian hacking operation.

But judge Ungaro said BuzzFeed's article, which noted it could not verify parts of the dossier, was 'fair and true.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
