Labour MP Ivan Lewis quit the party today - tearing into Jeremy Corbyn over anti-Semitism and accusing him of backing Putin's Russia and a fundamentalist Iran.
The Bury South MP had been suspended from the party for over a year amid accusations that he sexually harassed women.
But in a fiery resignation letter, he lashed party bosses, saying they never bothered to interview him over the claims and have delayed the probe for 'politically motivated reasons'.
He also blasted Mr Corbyn over the anti-Semitism crisis, and accused the Labour leader of having an 'anti-Western world view'.
He wrote: 'All too often, you have been unwilling to condemn those whose hatred of Israel becomes Jew hatred, this is incompatible with being a lifelong campaigner against racism.
'This is integral to your anti-Western world view as you regard Israel as a proxy of the United States in the Middle East.
'Your longstanding preferences are for the values of Putin's Russia and the Islamist fundamentalism of Iran.
'It is no wonder why so many British people are uncomfortable with the prospect of you becoming Prime Minister of one of the world's most enduring western liberal democracies.'

His dramatic resignation comes 13 months after allegations that he sexually harassed women first surfaced.
Mr Lewis said he 'strongly refutes' the claims against him and attacked the disciplinary process as 'flawed and subject to political manipulation'.
He wrote: 'As you are aware, I have been suspended from the party for over twelve months, despite never having been interviewed about complaints which have been made against me.'
He added: 'This unnecessary and politically motivated delay occurred despite the fact that the party was fully aware of the impact the situation was having on my mental health.'
He also accused the Labour leader of sacking him as shadow Northern Ireland by text message after he raised concerns about anti-Semitism.
Mr Lewis, who is Jewish, said: 'It is for others to determine whether you are anti-Semitic, but what is absolutely clear if that you and Seamus Milne do not believe in the right of the Jewish people to self determination in their own state.
'This is different to your view on the right to self determination for every other minority community.'
He suggested Mr Corbyn kicked him out of his shadow cabinet after he raised concerns about anti-Semitism.
He said: 'I was the first shadow cabinet minister you chose to sack when you became leader. You will recall sacking me by text message after I had asked to meet with you to discuss anti-Semitism.'
Mr Lewis, who has been an MP since 1997, tore into Mr Corbyn's leadership of the party - and pointedly said how proud he is to have served under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
His resignation comes 13 months after a woman told Buzzfeed News the MP had touched her leg at a Labour event in 2010.
In a statement issued last November, Mr Lewis said he was sorry if his behaviour towards women he worked with had made anyone feel 'awkward'.
'I understand that a few women have claimed that my behaviour made them feel uncomfortable,' he said.
'I have on occasion asked women I work with out for drinks or dinner, or developed strong feelings for them, and I am genuinely sorry if this was unwelcome or inappropriate in the circumstances, and caused anyone to feel awkward.'
Ivan Lewis blasted Jeremy Corbyn (pictured yesterday in the Commons) and his spokesman Seamus Milne over the anti-Semitism crisis which has dogged Labour
He is the latest in a string of Labour MPs who have walked out of the party this year.
John Woodcock, who was also accused of sexual harassment, quit accusing the party attacking its takeover by the hard left and blasting Mr Corbyn over anti-Semitism.
Frank Field also quit the Labour whip accusing the Labour leadership of failing to tackle the anti-Semitism while Jared O'Mara quit accusing party bosses of not giving him a proper say as they investigated him for inappropriate comments.
A Labour Party spokesperson said: 'Jeremy Corbyn thanks Ivan for his service to the Labour Party.
'The Labour Party takes all complaints of sexual harassment extremely seriously, which are fully investigated in line with our rules and procedures and appropriate disciplinary action taken.
'This case was referred to a full hearing of Labour's National Constitutional Committee. The process is the same for everyone.'
A Labour Party source said: 'Ivan was under investigation for alleged sexual harassment. His resignation means the complainants have been denied a hearing.'

But in ...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
