June went to admit that much of the humour in television has dried up and despite a love of some comedians she thinks modern day humour is too politically correct and reliant on swearing.

She explained: 'I do like people like [comic] Michael McIntyre , but some of them just spend the whole time swearing.'

'You cannot make a joke about anybody.'

June is most well known for her work with comedian Terry Scott, co-starring in sitcoms Happy Ever After and Terry and June, where they both starred as a husband and wife duo.

Following Scott's death in 1994, June went onto play Edina Monsoon's mother in Absolutely Fabulous, alongside well-loved supporting roles in Last Of The Summer Wine and The Green Green Grass.

She was then awarded an OBE in 1985, followed by a CBE in 1998 and then a Damehood in 2017.

June also admitted that while she still gets offered acting roles, she's found they have reduced in recent years, as she becomes less mobile due to her age.

She said: 'Not really. As an actress, you must be able to walk about and I’m not very good at that.'

June added that her lack of mobility means one of the few roles she can play is someone 'in bed going to sleep.'

Last year June admitted she had begun to miss acting, having last appeared in the Absolutely Fabulous Movie in 2016.

She told The Mirror: 'I’ve done it for 70 odd years. If I could I still would.'

She also recently revealed that she now lives in a care home, after ten years of living alone following the death of her husband of 46 years Tim Aitchison in 2001.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
