«Breaking News» Incredible basketball coach inspires hearing-impaired team with passionate speech in sign language

This inspirational basketball coach didn't let hearing-impairment stand in the way of delivering a rousing and passionate team-talk to a team of deaf high school students.

In the short clip, dedicated coach Sekoe White of the Mississippi School for the Deaf is seen emotively emotively gesturing to his squad in sign language, urging them to work together.

Mr White momentarily halts the animated address and places his fingers on each of the players' foreheads, in a hope to instill belief in each of them.

Sekoe is himself deaf, having previously competed for the USA in the Deaflympics before he became a coach.

According to interpretation, Mr White signs: 'Stop worrying about what the referee says - just accept it.

'All of you need to work together as a team, not as individuals.

'Now get out there and work together.'

Despite the impassioned pep-talk, the team lost 49-40 in a tight game with a local high school, on November 8.

Despite the coach's speech the Mississippi school for the Deaf lost the close match by 8 points

But the internet's response to White's efforts certainly feel like a victory, with the video amassing more than 1.3 million views on Twitter.

Kenny Griffiths, who captured the moment on film remarked on Facebook:

'I sat behind the Miss School for Deaf team last night.

'This coach was remarkable. Just before this the coach had a conversation with his best player that was the best coaching communication I’d ever seen.

'Thanks coach. These boys are lucky to have you.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
