«Breaking News» I'm A Celebrity final: Harry Redknapp is crowned the WINNER

Harry Redknapp has been crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2018, after beating out Emily Atack and John Barrowman in a dramatic finale.

Speaking to hosts Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby ahead of being crowned king, the 71-year-old football manager admitted he's been 'taught how to laugh again' since entering the jungle, and credited his ten fellow campmates with helping him through the ordeal.

It comes as Emily Atack declared herself the 'jungle princess' after finishing in runner-up, and the Inbetweeners star struggled to hold back tears as she explained how the show has helped her to accept her insecurities following a difficult start to the year.

The 51-year-old actor struggled to hold back tears as he headed into the treehouse for his interview, admitting it was one of the toughest AND best things he had ever done.

Speaking after his departure, John candidly told Dec and Holly he was feeling both relief and excitement as he made an emotional exit.

He added: 'It's surreal it's amazing it's probably one of the best things I have ever done, and can count it on the top five things I've done my career.

'It was harder than I ever thought. I tried to submerge myself in doing things, and hit a wall after four days. It's probably one of the toughest things, if anyone does it in the future, it's the best things but one of the toughest things.'

Dec and Holly also touched on his incredibly positive demeanour throughout the series, alongside his impromptu musical numbers.

'I like to make sure people are happy, I find myself as the joker and fun person in the family,' he said.

'I've learned from a lot more people who have a much more difficult time than I have to keep smiling in the face of adversity.'

Speaking about their close friendship, John said: 'As soon as I met Emily I knew we're gonna be lifelong friends, Emily has a special place in my heart and she will be if she calls me up at 3am and wants to talk I'm there.'

It was the series' conclusion that fans had long been awaiting, as after Fleur East's departure on Saturday, Emily, Harry and John were revealed as the final three.

But before they said their goodbyes to the camp, they each had to endure one more Bushtucker Trial which would win them a luxury three course meal of their choice for their last evening in camp.

Emily was up first playing for the camp's starters, along with a drink and special treat for herself, in the famous Fill Your Face challenge.

The comedic actress had to place her head inside the plastic globe while it was being filled with critters, and every minute she endured would earn her a star.

Stay away! With Dec baffled as to what to do, Holly couldn't hide her fear at the close encounter with the bugs

It was a difficult feat for Emily to complete the challenge, and at one point she screamed: 'I want my mum! Christmas, Christmas,' just before 20 scorpions went in at the three minute mark.

She continued to shake with terror, as the timer reached four minutes and into her final 60 seconds Dec announced that 15 large spiders were going in. They crawled over her head and onto her face. As the presenters counted her down the last seconds: 'You've done it,' said Holly 'It's all over. Shake, shake, shake,' as she batted the bugs away from Emily.

But after spending the series screaming at being covered in bugs, she endured the task and thus won all three starters, a drink and a treat.

But at one point it seemed Holly was battling a trial of her own, as she ran about and clung to Dec in horror as the bugs began crawling towards her.

Dec was left in hysterics as he jokingly said he didn't know what to do, while Holly jumped and screamed around in fear.

Hilarious: Next to return to the Bushtucker Trial clearing was John, who had to face the ever-dreaded Bushtucker Bonanza, chowing down on some of the animals most intimate areas to win three main courses

Next to return to the Bushtucker Trial clearing was John, who had to face the ever-dreaded Bushtucker Bonanza, chowing down on some of the animals most intimate areas to win three main courses.

The entertainer had to battle the temptation of some of his favourite dishes instead tucking into all manner of jungle snacks.

First on the menu was beach worms which John quickly said tasted like 's**t,' followed by a dead water spider.

Putting it in his mouth and throwing his head back to swallow them, Holly asked him what spider tasted like, leading him to respond: 'The whole web ass exploded in my mouth and that was horrible.'

The next course was a surprise new addition to the jungle menu - goat eyes, which John said: 'tasted a little bit goaty, I don't like this restaurant by the way '

Too funny: At one point John appeared near-delusional as he ate the dishes, in a bid to win three main courses for the camp

Fourth was a Bushtucker favourite - and supposed Australian delicacy - the blended fermented duck egg.

He added: 'It tasted like an egg that has been fermented and came out the duck's rectum rather than the regular bit.'

And the final dish proved to be the most difficult for John - a bull's penis.

John cried out: 'I knew you were going to give me a penis! I hate you, you evil people, go away,' before putting the bull's penis in his mouth and chewed away at it.

'Is it a bit chewy, a bit grisly?' Holly asked. John gave her the thumbs up.

The final dish meant John earned a full house, with three main courses, a drink and treat for the camp.

Well done! After also enduring a glass of blended fermented egg, John got a full house in the trial, earning three main courses for the camp

And thus Harry was the last celebrity to face his trial, again with the classic endurance challenge Danger Down Under, where the football manager had to lie in an underground chamber for five minutes to win desserts, along with his own drink and treat.

As the 71-year-old was placed in the chamber, it slowly began to fill with rats, but he remained unfazed.

At one point Dec asked: 'Any idea what else is in there with you?' Harry was concentrating so didn't reply. 'He's going up my shorts, he won't find a lot up there' said Harry.

Dec said 'There's rats in there with you.'

'Oh don't, I hate rats, I'm scared of rats, don't let one go up my leg please, oh my god' said Harry. 'Arhhh, he's scratching my face' added Harry.

As four minutes passed he added: 'It's gone in my ear, I swear.'

'You've got a rat in your ear?' asked Dec. 'What is it?' asked Holly. 'I don't know' said Harry.

Harry completed the trial to earn yet another full house and the chamber opened.

But he still thought he had something in his ear so Medic Bob came in and identified he had a cricket in his ear, Harry stood still and Bob swiftly removed it.

Finishing the trial he told Dec and Holly: 'It's been a great experience, I've loved it. It's been amazing. My mates all said you'd last 2 days Harry, that I'd miss my family and football, you won't last 2 days and I'm still here today.'

Look at that! Harry completed the trial to earn yet another full house, but Medic Bob had to step in and removed a cricket from his ear

Main photo article Harry Redknapp has been crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2018, after beating out Emily Atack and John Barrowman in a dramatic finale.
Speaking to hosts Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby ahead of being crowned king, the 71-year-old football manager admitted...

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
